Oh dear.

Going to Gumbet next week. Last time I was there, a large Efes was about 3YTL I think. Cocktails were 5YTL from memory.

I think this time, it may be worth haggling with the guys dragging you into the bars for deals.

We also noticed a big difference in the cost of a Full English varied from about 6 - 8ytl in Gumbet and Bodrum up to around 8 - 12ytl in Bitez which is supposed to be an "All Year" resort for the Turkish.

It put me off my food!

agree with parky mostly 5 for efes and between 7-10 lira for a cocktail.

Some bars do certain cocktails for 5 lira at certain times

WARNING some bars are adding drinks to your bill and charging turkish beer as foreign beer, please check your bill
was charged 49 lira for 7 beers at lwt bar when queried was told tuborg is a foreign beer pointed out we only had 5 beers and too get out said i would pay 25lira waiter wasn't happy but accepted the money and we got out v quickly.
