Has anyone just come back from this hotel, it appears they are or have refurbished :?:

Cannot wait only have 10 months to go

I have noticed though since you mentioned the 2 buildings which you would prefer to go in, is that next to the quiet pool building is another hotel which runs a disco until early hours of the morning. :roll:

At least I can wait until your return to clarify this for me :wink:

A lot of people on other forums said the quiet building is next to hemingways night club, which goes on 'til early hours, but the hotel entertainment only goes on 'til like 11.30 or 12, we will stay out all that time, so we'd probably be better in the saonda (sp?) we also like to be by the sea, and this one is near all the action in the hotel.

going in 3 weeks. any info good or bad about this hotel or area would be appreciated. which is the best block to be in. what currency do you take with you. any tips please reply

Kazee, the rooms havent been refurbished yet.....but dont let it put you off, they are fine, are spotlessly clean. We were in the Saona building with a view of the ocean. Perfect. The rooms over by the quiet pool seem to be a little nicer, but as you have gathered the quiet pool isnt so quiet at night anymore. Sitting around and relaxing isnt a problem in the evening, its late at night, 11, midnightish the noise from the Roadhouse/way bar is very loud, people changed rooms beacuse of this.

jopey which is the best block to be in. we are 21yrs old and first time here. any tips please.did you go on any trips. we go 2weeks tomorrow . please write your review so i can read it.
