Go to the page with the avator on and copy from the address bar. Paste it into here. Mind you Mark is good and will probably be able to decipher the address from the url I have given further up.

Thanks for trying to help. I'm not the smartest when it comes to computers!!!!!!!!
Whoops!!!! Dont know what happened here, one minute it was an url address, next it was the picture I have spent about 10 hours trying to get as my avator (note that the dreaded "red cross" is still there)
Have answered you in the following thread:
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost ten hours later its worked!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for all your help, I just love my "avatar" to bits!!!! Had to recruit the help of my daughter to do the cut+paste bit. You are geniuses.
Sorry to "rabbit" on about this avatar but can you tell me why mine doesn't show up unless I am logged on? Thanks
I don't think any avatars are displayed unless the user is logged in...............are they?
Good question!!!!!! But if you look at old postings those with avatars are visible. ??? if they are logged on to same forum at the current time. Can someone please log off and check to see if their avator disappears like mine???! Thanks so much
I just logged out and couldn't see any avatars
Aaaaah, I see!!! So you have to be logged on then. Thanks for "loggin' off" for me. Cheers.

3. Go to: http://www.imageshack.us
4. Press the 'browse' button
5. A pop-up window will appear. Find your picture and press the 'open' button
6. Press the 'host it!' button
7. After some processing time, you will get to the next page. In the 5th box down marked 'Direct link to picture' you will find a so called URL. Highlight this URL by keeping the left mouse button clicked and scrolling across it until it is fully highlighted. Right-click and select 'copy'. The link is now stored in the computer's memory
8. Go to the Holidaytruths page (make sure you are logged in) and select 'profile' from the top menu;
9. At the bottom of the profile, you find a box labelled 'link to offsite avatar'. Place the cursor in this box and simultaniously press the CTRL and V key.
10. Finally press the 'submit' button and your avatar should appear under your username.
Which of the above mentioned are you having trouble with?
Mark
