Very jealous. My friend comes home on Thursday and we go 4 weeks time on Thursday
I know how you feel,but Im even more jealous, I have had my time there and it will be at least a year (if not more) before we can go back

I did get bitten a couple of times which is unusual, we have been to the canaries 4 times now and this is the first time I have been bitten. There is a "stream" water feature thing running through the grounds and apparently these areas of standing water attract them and I think I got bitten the day we were sunbathing by the pool near this water feature.
I read somewhere that alot of hotels are doing away with water features for this very reason, However I was not wearing any mossie repellent
(in my defence,never needed it before..) so I may have just been unlucky!

Sorry to hear that it wasn't quite for you. My friend came back 2 weeks ago and promptly booked to go back. We'll see how we find it in 2 weeks time.

I received email back today - they are reserving a club palace room for us as we had problems last year (see review) and they are grateful we are returning - as well as our wedding anniversary! two weeks minus 1 day and counting
Just read your review welshhoney - what a shame you didn't enjoy it. I honestly could not fault the staff - reception or waiters - they were so friendly and helpful. Maybe the reception was busy at the time although no excuse really. We never had any problems in the restaurant and can't believe that people could ever be bored with the selection of food that is on offer! We always had lunch in the main restaurant and there was almost as much on offer for lunch as for the dinners.
We prefer a quiet relaxing hotel and resort so that never worries us - we always hire a car and go exploring - but of course everyone is different and everyone looks for different things in their holiday.

Kristell, I think you may be there at the same time as us. We fly in on the 31st. We'll probably be getting off the plane just now.

My daughter is 8 and my son is 5. We're a scottish family and we'll have granny and grandad with us. Only 12 days and counting. Am so needing this holiday now and 4 weeks into the school holidays I need some heat and a relax.
