I wonder if any one could recommend a resort for myself, husband and
2 year old daughter, in Gran Canaria, ideally not to near to clubs, bars
etc, but on the other hand not to secluded.
We would like to go in May sometime and have chosen Gran Canaria as
we know the weather is warm all year round there ? and also wouldnt
be too long a flight for our daughter.
It would be great if there was a kids club at the resort also??
Anyones help will be brilliant as never been abroad so dont know where
to start..
Thanks
Lucy
Hi Lucy have a read through our Gran Canaria resort reports as they may help you narrow it down.
We've been to Playa del Ingles with our little girl when she was 2, i know the resort isn't to everyones taste, but there are plenty of bars and restraunts who are more than happy to welcome families with little ones. I can't recall any negative reaction to having the buggy in tow during our evenings out.
The beach is also very good.
One recomendation I would make, from experience of a trip to Portugal the year before, is for you to talk to a pharmacist before travelling in order to get some form of travel sickness medicine suitable for your child. We used Phenegan(spelling??) and it worked a treat.
