Hi we are going to the holiday village in october half term and was wondering is there a beach around the edge of the h/v.as it does look like it in the brochure .
also any info on the all inclusive would be appreciated and also is there much to do for a 15 year old boy...
maybe going to hire a car as would like to go to gibralter for the day ..do you pay to park car at hotel???
we are praying weather will be ok any one been here in october ??

The beach is a good 15min walk away from the hotel, well worth hiring a car to see Gibralter and surrounding area, i.e Mijas, Nerja and the Zoo at Fuengirola, beware though Fenguarola is full of ticket touts trying to scam you! we never paid to park car at hotel although this was 3 years ago when we went. Hope that helps, any more Qs just ask. OH, your 15 yr old might want to use the Wavelength club where they do sports, games and DJ workshops and there is a games arcade on site.

Hi mjw,we went to the hv in April and they where just completing some steps down to the beach. These where situated just to the RIGHT of the beach club (as you look out to sea)Don't go into the beach club because they are off the road.We walked along the beach and back up the steps good hike but very enjoyable. You will have a great time we did and didn't have kids, kept wishing my Grandson was with us.

A tip if you get hassle from time share ,tell them you are resident on the costa and they leave you alone.[/b]

Going in just under 2 weeks, and a little concerned about one or two of the hotel reviews that I have seen recently.

We arent too fussy as long as our daughter has a good time, and it sounds as if the kids stuff is fantastic as I havent read anything negative in this respect.

My daughter will be almost three - about 2 weeks short of it - so Im not sure she will be allowed in the kids club for 3+ year olds, although I think the creche will be too young for her.

Anyones experience of their strictness on this and opinions about whether the creche will keep her entertained!! I dont want her to be bored and also it would be great for her to make friends as that is her favorite past time!

hi , im going on holiday with a 15mth old and was looking for advice on leaving him into the creche or not . Has anyone used this facility as i would like to but am not sure about leaving him with people i do not know

thanks

We are going out on Friday and have not yet booked for all inclusive is it worth it for a 3year old girl who does not eat a lot ? We will be doing it for ourselves but it may be better just paying for what she has.

I havent done all inclusive here before, but have in several other places.

We also have a three year old, and are going in september (8th)

When we have been away with her in the past and gone all inclusive it has been worth it for the drinks alone as we try and get her to drink as much as possible in the hot weather (stopping short of shoving it down her neck of course ;))

Ice cream on demand is also good for them, and not having to carry a wallet around with you and worry about how much money is in it is also a major plus with a little-un!

Not sure whether there is a cash machine on site for self-catering, so this could cause problems?

:D Just returned from hv yesterday. What can i say it is a beautiful hotel, beach club 5 min walk from gate to gate. My kids loved it 12 yer old used wavelength 7 and 6 year old taz club. It is nice for a couple of hours every night just to enjoy yourself.
Food: AI lots of selection for adults normal kids food choc fountain no complaints at all.
Entertainment staff were very funny(capt crowsfeet) sound system was playing up abit whilst we were there so sometimes go ito the piano bar. They all work v hard and some people will moan about anything.
Staff very friendly tried to order in spanish and chat to them you will always get a smile.
There were que s so just time going to the bar right.

We got back from the holiday village yesterday!! It was fantastic!!! We had a wonderful time.My children 7 and 10 loved the beach club.Food was top class.Lots of choice.Pool/sea view room fantastic. Weathers supposed to get very hot next week! Entertainment was so funny as mistakes kept happening which totally threw the entertainers but showed how talented they are!

We will def go back. Only problem we had was waiting for the coach on a trip to Tivoli but after complaining did get a part refund from first choice!
Oh yes and 8 hour delayed flight last night!!!!

Still exhausted now but any questions and I will try to answer them! Also Crocodile park was small but Fantastic. My kids loved holding a small crocodile!!!

Hi guys,

I am going on Saturday for 2 weeks - cant wait and neither can my (almost) 3 year old daughter!

I wonder if anyone could help with a couple of questions :)
- Is there an iron provided/available?

- I have read that the rooms have DVD players somewhere. Is this true? Just need to know whether to take a few DVDs incase I need to get my daughter out of the sun for a couple of hours during the day

- With going at the beginning of September is there any reduced facilities like the beach club or the entertainment etc? I have also ready that the entertainment may be inside rather than outside!?

Sorry if these have been answered before - I have read as much as possible, but there is a lot to get through for this hotel on these forums!

Oh - one other thing, Marissa, you said it is due to get very hot. Are they expecting a heatwave and what do you know about it? I'm just a bit worried about my daughter in the sun (me too actually!)

Hi

Im going on the 30th september, this will be my forth time to this hotel and i love it!

in regards to the cd/ dvd player i never recalled there being one, but i have read on other reviews that there is perhaps they upgraded to a select room (same room but you get dvd player slippers robes etc) i did this in june when i went to menorca and for £90 it was a rip off!

althought the dvd player would be really useful now as my son is 15mts and loves tweenies etc , great for when your getting a shower etc

cant wait... :D
