Can anyone tell me if you have to pay for the water and soft drinks in the fridge in the all inclusive rooms?
Thanks in advance.
Emma
No Emma you don't have to pay for them. I would advise taking them out and stashing them though as they only refill whats been used.
hi marktina, will certainly post on our return and let you know how we get on!! we been twice before as i said in 2004 and 2006 and loved it! fab place and great for kids - how old are your kids? im sure you will love hol village!

hi topsey, just wondered if you can tell me is the evening entertainment on the outside stage or is it still indoors at this point in the season?? cheers.
I am hoping that somebody may be bale to help me. We are travelling to the holiday village on 7 sept. We are travelling with our 2 year old and another family with their 2 year old. Does anybody know how big the beds are? Not quite sure where the little one will sleep, if the bigs are big enough we could push them together and he could sleep with us. Think he might fall off the sofa! Is there much for nearly 3 year olds to do. Thanks for any replies sent
LISAJAKES - good news the beds in the bedroom are massive! you get two queen sized pushed together, last time we went my son who was 4 and is a big lad for 4 slept with us for the 2 weeks and there was loads of room so your lad will be able to sleep with you no prob (although the sofa bed in the lounge pulls out to a double and was not high up as i remember - happy hols
Are non residents allowed entry to the HV? I fancy going there one night to see the entertainment.
Has anybody heard anything about the train station being built. Would be great if it was built by next year.
Just hoping the reviews start to improve. Is it not as good as the HV in majorca?
many thanks izzy
Don't smoke but seem to remember when there 4 years ago they had vending machines. Maybe someone else could give you a definite answer to that one.
Ciggies.......yes there is a vending machine by the pool bar with maybe 2 uk brands i would take enough with you till you can get to a tabac. Also on return at airport after customs go through to departures then walk to the last gate there is a smoking room ........ you will smell it agh!!!!!!!
Hi Becky been to both HV Majorca and HV Costa. Personally i think the food and drink better in majorca. Though the facilities in costa are by far the best fab pools, games rooms etc. entertainment the same. You will have a great time .......
Have been to the one in Majorca and really enjoyed it. Now the kids are older think they will love the pools ect at HV Costa Del Sol.
Do they do the pancakes for breakfast?
The reviews are starting to improve again, so thats good.
Do they do the pancakes for breakfast?
Thats really funny, I just answered this same question on the Turkey HV thread lol. Yes they do lots of yummy pancakes for breakfast!!!
I thought the food at the HV cds was fabulous, put it this way, I put on 16lbs in two weeks!!! However, the food at the Turkey HV was still better!
I am looking to book Holiday Village for this summer - the accomodation seems only to be available through First Choice or Eclipse who are quoting the same price. I found the property on My Travel - has anyone booked through My travel and could you tell me if you don't book through First Choice do you still have access to all the kids clubs and entertainment as I assume they are first choice staff.
Thanks
Helen
Hello can anyone tell me do you pay for the drinks in the Irish bar when your all inclusive,as it says its open till 2am....
although the irish bar is open until 2pm the all inclusive will finish at 12.00 and you will then have to pay for your drinks. be warned there can be a bit of a queue coming up to 12.00 with people stocking up, but you can take your drinks in with you. have a fab holiday we did in 07.

Hi everyone new to this topic, was thinking of booking to go here, I have been to HVV in Majorca for last two years and fancy a change. I was just wondering what the sunbed situation was like? as I am sick of going on holiday and having to get up at silly o'clock for a sunbed, and secondly how it compares with the other in Majorca. Thanks in advance
we were there in both aug06 and aug07 what i found was that at the main pool you had to be there by about 8am for a sunbed a little earlier if you really needed a parasol. One of the things that i loved about the complex was the beach club. This did not open until 10am and you could always get sunbeds at any time of day, again if you are desparate for a parasol be there for 10am and you would not have a problem. We loved both our holidays at hv cds and are trying out the hv red sea, just hope its as good.
