Hey John
Having looked at the map they gave us and just been to the hotel I think you are better off just going for a wonder when you get there. You will have the map so will know whats on offer but what you think is for you may not be quite what you think! There is such a range of pools, bars etc you will be better off deciding what you like when you get there. That sounds really vague but its honestly massive!
When are you going? Our second week (last week) was getting busy - the difference between the 2 weeks was very obvious and if I had a choice would have it quieter. My daughter starts school this year tho so I had better get used to the masses x
Its my sons bday the day we fly out and im trying to work out when/how to sort him a cakeas he will only be 4 he wont understand not having one.
If you have was it nice? how much do they charge?
Also i asked a while ago but no replies...............anyone used the gym? is it good and AC? what hours is it open?
Im pretty sure that the hotel did a celebration package so could be worth asking?
On the subject of the gym....had good intentions, took trainers and shorts....never got there! Did lengths in the pool instead. Was planning to go in the morning when not so hot - but was always hot!
Have a lovely time x
hi vicky while we were on holiday it was my sons 5th birthday so we booked in to the italian that night and ordered a cake from reception think it was about £10 though but they decorate the table for you with flowers it was lovely and they came out singing happy birthday with balloons and his cake had his name on and said 5 today he loved it the whole restaurant joined in the singing it was really nice cake too lol
Thanks both of you, its his bday the day we arrive and we dont arrive til late so i dont know if i should do his cake at home the day before?
Would anyone who has just come back from HV Turkey recommend what is best currency to take this year. Having been previously and always took sterling I figure the Turkish might not be so keen on our pound!. What do the kids clubs take for parties and highropes etc? is it still sterling or lira only. Any advice much appreciated
I was thinking of taking maybe£50 worth or lira and the rest £ but not sure.
Does anyone know if the spa do treatments like nails? specifically acrylic infills? or is it just massage etc i cant remember.
All i went in there for last time was a fab package of sauna, turkish bath and massage.....hope they sill do that?
hi scooby doo the kids club did only take tl this time but really thats the only time we used lira but on the up side the high ropes was free this year
they wanted manly lira this year when we went in may
Hi, thanks I think mainly sterling with a bit of lira should do it. Great about the high ropes being free I remember it being £10 a go a couple of yrs ago and my daughter wanted a go nearly every day cost me a fortune but she was determined to get right to the top and jump onto that swing! Last time we were there they were building another type of swing thing by the high ropes, is that finished now? And can you spend any type of currency in the on site shops for lilos etc.
Oh the highropes my son didnt do that last time i think he maybe have been too young but hes 8 now nearly 9 (not til we return) whats the age on it?
Scooby doo ....top tip, asda have lilos in for £2 ! ive just picked up 2 nice and eay to pack cos they are flat and i shall pass on when i leave!
Does the barber still do the crazy designs in the boys hair and how much is it? my son wants it done again as he loved it the last time.
Does he still do mens shaves aswell my hubbie always looks forward to that !
This will be out third time to the village, and i was wondering, there is a part in there with
regard to men wearing long trousers for the evening meal, not that i am one to not wear trousers
but the other 2 times i have been (2006+2007) it has been acceptable to wear shorts. Has this changed
recently or is the dress code still smart casual (ie tailored shorts etc)??
Many thanks in advance and 18 sleeps to go....can't wait
He only ever wears smart shorts with a shirt or 3/4length ones.
hi all, just wondering what the set up was for the registering the kids for the clubs? and how does the booking of the themed restaurant's work now? as i can remember it was a mad dash to get to the lists for the kids club register the last time we were there, is this still the case!!!!!! getting very excited!!!!!!!!
2nd the age this year for the high ropes is 6 years and up
3rd yes they do still do the crazy designs in the boys hair loads of kids had it done and the mens shaves too
and last off no the dress code has not changed my hubby wore shorts or 3/4 most nights so dont worry
hi best time to register kids for kids club is at welcome meeting well before it starts cos after everyone trying to do it and to book al a carte restaurants its still the same you book in the morning for that night outside main restaurant but you do have to be there quite early cos the queue gets very big
thanks kerry, do you still have to book the kids in daily though? and is there still clubs on both sides?
yes there are still kids clubs on both sides if you already filled out the card for where you will be then you can hand it straight in only takes longer when waiting for a pen to do it there its the signing out that takes a bit of time
oh thanks kerry, bet you were wishing you was just going!!!!
