Thanks for all the info Kerry much appreciated, cant wait to go back been 3yr for us !
mainly just want to register kids for clubs to be honest.......will i learn anything at meeting?
Been checking some recent reviews and its started all ready with reports of salmonella and food poisioning, just one review saying it so far, why does this happen here every year. When we went there was 11 of us and no one got ill atall that was 2006 .
Yes I have also seen that review, but you have to think that this hotel has around 3-4000 people there at any one time so if it was from the hotel it would have been on a much bigger scale. I think sometimes people already have tummy bugs when they go on holiday. Also if you are eating much richer and spicier foods and drinking far more liquid than you usually would at home these can all give you a dicky tum.
Totally agree!!!!!
can anyone tell me if they provide pool towels am off on Monday yipee!!!!!!!!!!
and yes they do supply pool towels saves alot of space in your case
Word of warning about the pool towels though - the towel station only opens at 9.00, so if you like to get up early to reserve your sunbeds, you will need to keep the ones from the day before.
Just another quick one to anyone who has been recently, i was reading the bumff FC had given me with
the tickets, and it states that the ice-cream is only served for an hour a day from the kids club??? is this
true or can you still get the ice creams from the beach bar like previous years????
Thanks
I read that on here somewhere aswell toffeeboy so im guessing its tru but like you when i went the ice cream thingy was by the beach we often walked down after lunch.
hi all, i also seen pictures of people in the hamster ball, what times and how much is it? looks like fun.!!! thanks
i dont think there will be any set time as yet. you will have to look at the daytime activities programme for the week when you are there and then put your name down to have a go. it should also be free as only lasts about 3 minutes. i had a go last year and although good fun it got very hot very quick once inside the ball. they may only use the water walkers a couple of times a week and places will be limited if you are there when its busy. like i said it is good fun so have a go, im glad i did but happy just to watch others next time.
happy hols
john
hi yes the ice cream is only served for 1 hour outside kids club now think it was between 4pm and 5pm or maybe 3pm till 4pm cant remember while we were there we saw the water walker about 6 times it is free but you have to put your name down they make an anouncement in the morning to sign up and it gets full quick so hurry
Could anyone advise if you are put in the orange side whether that restaurant is the same as blue side with part outside area. We loved this outside area to eat meals on the blue side last time we were there and I dont even remember seeing the orange side buffet restaurant when we walked over there. Do they mind if you use either restaurant no matter which side you get put on.
Only 6 shifts till we go (23rd July) can't wait
hi scooby doo there is an outside eating area on both sides on the tropical side(orange) its upstairs and when we were there we ate on both sides no problem lots of people did no one said anything we did last year too
any tips or recommendations for bars restaurants or anythings to do with the complex
also is it true that your seats on the flights are already allocated the day before?
cheers trace
Im just reading some reviews, and while some are excellent there are a few worrying ones people complaining beers and alcohol all watered down....is this true? i never found it when i went in 2006.
Also people saying not as good as it was originally when run by Pegasos which is who run it when i went.
Some saying food repetative, well they said that when i went and what i found was people liked to have a bit of everything on there plates so yes then it will get repatative but i tried to stick to one main a night therefore you get different each day.
Also when we went there was themed nights like turkish, mexican, chinese etc do they still do this?
One review said lots of things have to be paid for and not part of AI but i cant figure out what??? I realise anything from shops but thats all a matter of choice isnt it.
Also is it not soley FC anymore? as people mentioning different nationalities in tropical side.....not that i have any objection to this LOL
Has anyone been to the steak restaurant yet? It had just opened in my 2nd week in 2006 and was so worth paying for a meal there as it was lovely just wondered if it was the same.
Or if anyone had been into sarigerme for a nice meal anywere?
We particularly liked to sunbath at the end of the main pool at the palace where it went in from hardly any water.
thank you in advance
