It's a tragic story. It's one of those things which could happen in any town or city, but thankfully incidents such as this are relatively rare in Benidorm. Statistically, it was perhaps more likely to occur in his own home time, not that this would be of any consolation to the victim or his family. Hopefully in time he will make a full recovery.

this is a terrible thing to happen its bad enough in your own country but when it happens abroad it must be terrifing i pray this young lad will be alright also thinking about his family we took both my sons a few years ago and my son got hit over his head with a bottle coming out of hipperdrome just because he had a man united top on never found out who it were
