I am going to go back and try and price the same room for 4 and 6 adults to see if will let me, that might gives me a feel for the size of the room.
I'm sure that group of hotels has a web-site, I will try and find it and see if they give room plans in the same was as the Lykia World site does.
Thanks, David
I think you must have had something a bit superior to the one I am priceing David, sounds a bit more like an apartment. Thanks for your help though.

i book with thomas cook as the rooms at the hemera are allready taken up by various companies , i have found that thomas cook have booked all the new part of the hotel . which this could be the reason that direct hols dont have the bigger rooms try thomas cook..
I suppose though that even within the same company different divisions of it could have different room allocations.
I will probably have to resort to making a few phone calls.
Thanks again, Doe
Not sure how big the rooms are that Direct are quoting Chris, but just checked on Manos for next year. For the same room (ie family room/price reduction) and same dates for 3 adults, 1 child they are £1500 dearer than Direct
Don't know what to do, we certainly got good deals booking mega early last year for Lykia, but I was determined not to do so for this year as I would quite like to keep my options open a bit longer.
I am trying to read this thread from the begining. I have a brilliant price from Direct on this considering the quality & I am pricing 3 adults, 1 child in big summer hols, as you have probably noticed yourself.
I have an odd reservation about it though (apart from my ususal problem with family rooms lol) & that is that it is 24 hour AI. I have no problems with AI but prefer one that finishes at midnight. The idea of being in a hotel which will have every room taken and where people can drink to 3 in the morning dosen't appeal. Perhaps if the kids were a bit older 16 & 18 say, I might not be so bothered (they would probably been down there joining in lol) Can't remember if the Bel Beach was 24 hour of not ? We are boring and go to bed at midnightish. Also I don't like the sound of the generator or the late night bar across the road, I will probably get the room opposite.
I have been considering the Arum, as it is HB, I know that will work out quite a bit more expensive in the long run, but I think a HB hotel has a different feel to it than a 24 hour AI, so it might be worth paying the extra for peace of mind.
I wish they didnt put these holidays up so flipping early, I just cant resist it.
Chris
it is only the lobby bar that is all inclusive and to be honest it is still quite as not many people take advantage of it .
Thanks again David, so would you say it was a quiet hotel at night, in a busy period like Brit school hols?
i would say that the percentage of guests that are english is less than 10% so the usual brits abroad does not apply to this hotel at the minute . the majority of guest are european so i think this is why its becoming popular with brits who dont want the usual brit abroad all inclusive and are willing to pay a touch more for the hemera..
Hmmm. Well I've seen a few drunken Russians in Sharm the couple of times I have been, but perhaps the ones that go to Turkey are different lol. Takes all sorts I guess. Thanks again David, you have been really helpful answering all my questions, I hope I am not stopping you from working. Think I will make a few phone calls to the TO's and pick up some brochures before commiting myself. Cheers.
A disco should be open now within the hotel, not sure where it is sited, on how long it is open. Not keen tbh,
the disco is underneath the new block of rooms near the kids club, but the manager said to me last year that they werent even sure it was going to open...
Did you go there last month Perfume was it still Ok ? i was wondering if the infulx of Eastern Europeans has changed the character of it at all. I don't fancy a disco as well as a late night bar tbh.
Yes it was quiet, the lobby bar was fine, weather was good, a manager told me disco was opening end of April... I am in Side at weekend, but not at Hemera, will be there on 13 May.
Cheers
Well, we have now only got 59 sleeps to go, til we go....and boy I can't wait to get to the Hemera Even have a countdown on my facebook page to cheer me!
We booked for 19th June til 4th July, but have never been this time of year to Side, when we have been its always been from around 16th september onwards....so Im hoping it will be hot....
However, my husband says we should take Turish lira, and not euro's this year..... I dont know what currency to take, and suggestions would be welcome guys
Have read some prev postings on here, and I'm not sure if those querying rooms know that on the Hemera website there are plans of the rooms available, this may help someone.
Bye for now
