Hey
I have checked and its 15 dinars for a back and 30 dinars for a full massage!
This works out approx. half the amount so 15 dinar is around £7.50 and so on.
The massage was very good, but they did not tell you to drink lots of water after, like you would be told in the UK.
thanks again elaine i am really looking forward to it if you dont mind me asking when were you there ?? and is it a nice hotel ?? we are going in june oh do you have to book the massages ?or just walk in ?? do they get really busy ??
the side of the pool nearest the beach tends to be quiet as the pool is deeper here and parents take their kids to the other side
we are travelling to the Houda for the first time mid June
I have a few questions if anyone can be of help
1. Is there a fridge in the room or can you hire them ?
2.Are there tea and coffee facilities in the room ?
3. Are there internet facilies at the hotel and is it any good does it have msn messenger or yahoo messenger or something similar and how much is it ??
4. The last time we went all inclusive in tunisia we had tiny little plastic cups for drinks at the bar (held much less than half a pint, is it the same at the Houda ?
5. What channels do we have on the in room tv's, will I be able to watch the world cup?
Thanks in advance
Rob
There is no fridge in the room
The tea and coffee is downstairs at th bar and stops at midnight
The TV shows 1 news channel and movies channel with arabic subtitles
There was no football on when we were there, but they make an allowance for world cup.
If not there is an english pub in one of the towns, which will be showing it
I hope this answers all you questionsm but please ask if you need to know anything else.
Have a nice holiday and take lots of suncream as its not easily accessible at the hotel
elaine
thanks for the reply
much apprecaited
Looks like I will be packin a travel kettle (need my cuppa as soon as I wake)
Just a couple more things ...size of the glasses/cups from bar ?? it's the one thing that annoyed me on my last trip to Tunisia tiny plastic cups and only one drink per person at the same time
And are there internet facilities at the hotel ?
Thanks
Rob
Unfortunately it is small glasses, there is sign up about only getting two drinks each but they never questioned you when you ordered more.
I think we were told breakfast was between 9 and 11 but when we were going out early there was breakfast available as early as 7am, with tea.
I am a total tea addict and can't even take a sip of wine or anything without knowing if I was going to get my bedtime cuppa. I found not having tea or coffee in the room hard.
It must be our scottishness but my partner and I drink a lot of tea
we're booked in to a twin with garden view just wonderd if any body could shed some light on what to expect ?
and has enebody any idea what it wil cost to upgrade to a better room
hi all we are going to the houda on 25th june for the 1st time but i was reading on another forum that the hotelwas close to a power station is this true thanks
I am not sure what the part of tunisia with the english pub is, but the reps would be able to tell you, its on a strip of bars and clubs.
There is a lovely garden around the hotel, so the view should be good.
I don't know how much it will be to upgrade though, our room was fine!
There is a power station on the main road, but you can't see it from the hotel its about an hours work from the hotel!! The hotel is down a windy road next to the golf course, there is a lot of building work going on but the hotel is in its own walled grounds and it does not affect your holiday at all.
Could anybody who has been recently tell me what times of the day snacks are available, looking at some old messages they apperared to be available all day, however our TA has told us that you can only now get snackes between 2pm and 4pm.My son has a medical condition that means we need food available all day (or as near as possible) so any help would be greatfully received.
Hi Thanks Elaine2016, Do you happen to know if there are hairdryers in the rooms and irons and ironing boards?
but you have lunch and dinner as well, they serve tea and cake at 4pm and there is a shop.
there is no iron or hairdriers though
well no hairdryers in the rooms it looks like we will just have to let that hot sun dry our hair for us girls 20 days to go carnt wait
well katiela3, i have been known to soak up the sun, bit of a downer the football will be on though so guess i'll be washing my hair more often than usual! and letting the sun dry it! we'll forget the ironing though!

Going to the hotel in july, flying from newcastle. Can anyone tell me if there are beach towels supplied in the hotel rather than me taking them.
Thanks
Tracy
I have just got back from The Houda Golf and Beach Club 4 days ago! I am afraid you are not allowed to use the hotel towels on the beach or around the pool!
Anymore questions.....dont hesitate to ask!!
I had a great time although hotel aimed at families with small children!
could anyone tell me if there is a cash machine in the complex thanks
We did find one in the near by town but as this was in every language apart frm english it was certainly good fun!!!
Also the money we took out only showed on this months statement, and we were there at the end of march
