a really smashing meet tonight.. lots of lovely HT'ers and everyone just gets on so well and has such a laugh together... sad to see Lassi and O/H going home, its been sooo lovely having them around for so long as they are usually down south more but i think O/H has got the HT bug too now and enjoys the meets etc thanks Lassi for the you know what!!! delicious!!

Good to see Polly50 (drinking water... yes water... dont faint everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! its only cos she's been very poorly but is now on the mend glad to say) and the lovely Irishcolleen and irishman , sleep-r-us, Linb.... Oh and Bigknickershaz after so many promises to come and what an entrance with the giant pair of homemade drawers!!!!!!! no doubt some kind soul will be posting a pic of me posing in them and nearly got my head chppped off by the fan as i was standing on a chair to give everyone a birds eye view of the bridget jones!!!!!!!!!! an absolute scream but not sure why i got nominated to do the modelling... not forgetting our one and only split and O/H.... a laugh a minute but be cautious anyone if you have any chocolate with you... lucky i am not a chocolate eater ... the infamous Dragons ... and a new member has joined, yet to be named ... come on Wendy, think of a name!!!

yes a truly classic night... we did hear that davewales was seen lurking at the beginning of the night but promptly legged it before we all arrived... he is reported to have done this on a previous occassion ???? come on dave!!! show yourself next time :-)

so i could go on but guess you lot freezing back in the UK will only be swearing and groaning for me to belt up ... looking forward to many more meets

Hi Chilly, can you remove Ken's name from the meet ups, he told us last night he isn't coming to Goa now, even though we travel next Friday and everything is paid for as his girlfriend, who became his fiancee last week, doesn't want him going on holiday with Liz and I, never thought we would be looked upon as man-eaters at our age! Did me the world of good. I mean he isn't exactly Brad Pitt either! We will still be there though, hopefully all packed this weekend and ready to go. See you soon.

Hi Chilly. This will be my 4th visit to candolim been down beach road loads of times but never spotted the Carvery as a named place but I can remember something being up on the top of something but did not see the name of the place I am guessing that this is where the carvery is placed., I am guessing that its before the inferno, you will put me right if its not ! my wife and myself are flying out on the 14th dec, are most of the HT,ers there most nights or is it just a Wednesday thing ! hope to meet up with you all that's there and have a beer or two Kestrel.

Hi Kestral, yes thats the place!! the stairs are down the side... its wednesdays for the meet, but one of the HT'ers Dragon holds a jolly good quiz there on a thursday night if you want to have a bash at keeping the brain matter active whilst sunning it up!!!

Ha Ha Chilly, my brain don't matter it just oozes kingfisher, and Curry, but we will be having a look in and try and find a few people that's on HT, the only thing that I can remember is the topic of getting an Indian Visa lol, oh by the way are they still filling the Health form in about the swine flu thingy,

Just want to let you know how much I am missing, all the lovely friends we made at the Meets. You arrive as a stranger, and come away, with happy memories, and many new friends.
The highlight this time , was chilly wearing the " Big Knickers " provided by Big knicker shaz, so i had to upload a photo, in the media gallerie .
Hope you are all well, and keeping up the good work, hope to be doing it all again in March.

ahh sorry Lassi its been that festive season!! not a minute spare and intermittant internet problems... we had a great meet tonight, we sat at the other end of the restaurant tonight and i preferred it (its where we used to be beside the stairs) anyway the meet felt lively and chatty and i think everyone had a good chin wag.. and a drink

the food was good, we had meat pie and mash (I know i know!! but it was lovely!!) Harvey honey bee had a massive tandoori chicken that looked lush, travellingtrina wasnt at her best (tummy bug) bless, and was very quiet (seemed odd!! ) hullsmoggy and other half arrived and were found by meagain's O/H hollering out 'MULLSHOGGY' into the packed restaurant causing everyone to turn, but we did get a smile from one couple and guessed they had been revealed!!

Goangirl has been poorly since arrival so couldnt make the meet, which was dissapointing... for her and us, and Split & O/H were having some time out from partying after xmas new year,, so they were missed, but all in all it turned out a great fun night... to be honest we were shattered and in need of a night in but were really glad we went once we got there!!

Corinelynne and family managed to get there, a little harrassed, having had the grandchild all day (hehe) and some German people (father and son) who had hooked up with us all a few weeks ago at a meet through TravellinT and HoneyBeeharvey and are now honoury members of HT came too!!The Dragons were all there, Mr Dragon on form as ever!!! meagain and O/H had a friend there ... so a good crowd

The men drifted off for periods as usual playiing pool....... (sometimes its connect four too!!) but all good fun

The weather has also started to hot up noticeably yesterday and today which meant we were all very warm ( been a bit chilly lately at times!!) but not tonight!! i think the summer is on its way well and truly... (& the pools will warm up now thank goodness...)

there was nice music tonight as well and we could hear it better at that end.... but still hear each other...and we had a cake for Meagains birthday... and the traditional Goan 'Happy birthday' record that we all sang heartily too .. and goes on for ever.. I am sure you are smiling if you have ever been privy to hearing this in Goa ... as its a crack up job!!

Hope i havent forgotten anyone..

missed BrenLiz who had gone home on New Year .. hope its not too cold girls brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr miss your smiling faces!!

Wish you had been there, all you HT'ers who might be reading this, .... but hope some of you will also come along on your next trips ...
