HI Steve The English Rose finished about 2 weeks ago,we will be going at the carvery till Ram closes,it was Rustlers i was refering to as having a pool table etc,

It's sad no more meet ups. i feel as though I am there just reading about them, looking forward to more next year though. Can't understand people who come on here and don't go, you don't know what you are missing.

I think he got it .....we got it!a quiet meet tonight as there arent that many of us left now
but we managed to sink a few drinks and have a laugh 
not so many tourists arriving here for hols now and next week will be the last meet at the carvery as they close on 15th April... so it really feels like the season is coming to an end now.Its been a great season again for the meets and yet again they have been a huge success.... i think a lot of us have made a lot of life long new friends through them............. thanks to everyone who has made it that way and turned up every week... and hope to see you all next year
and those of you still to arrive see you in the next few weeks... (at Rustlers on a wed after the carvery closes)

Sorry we didn't manage to get to the meets this year. We've always had great nights at the carvery. We had intended to go on 29/3 but got caught up with friends and didn't realise the time. On our second week we also didn't make it for 6/4 as my OH was ill. (He's still not well)
Chilly I had brought you chocolate but I had to eat it all myself. lol
Hopefully we'll make it next year.

Yes, it was tummy troubles, on and off for over 3 weeks. He's a bit better now thanks. Didn't put us off though and we'll hopefully catch up with you next year.

thanks Lin...popped past the night before last and it looked so dead and we couldnt get past the big metal gate at bottom of the stairs!! I think the boys must have been asleep up there as it was very late and we were after a nightcap ... hardly any tourist restaurants are open yet but we did have a great meal in Horizon... Kalton the owner couldnt do enough for us..

Lin,I think Ram is having a laugh with you,we been past there twice now and theres no signs of life there atall ,although its not all covered up now,

You are right about that Chilly I thought it looked more like a zombie zone from a B movie, what with the deserted buildings and the monsoon rubbish laying in the road, hardly any lights anywhere and been late at night
