Just saying hello - will be arriving next week and if all goes according to plan hope to share a beer with you over the next few weeks. Back to the North this year after a visit to the more Sedate South last year where most people were in bed by 10 o'clock. It's whatever floats yer boat I suppose...... talking of which.....no I won't go there .

Hope the meet goes well tonight, it was certainly interesting last week. Chilly we do expect a full report from you of course!
Great to meet all those that went over the last 5 weeks, myself and Doug had a really good time at all of them. Hope I didn't bore you all too much with the stories of our travels over the last year. We are back in England and are freezing but it is good to get some decent red wine in us after 1 year on the road.
To Billybluenose our healthchecks at Mapusa hospital went well and we are apparently both healthy.
Not sure whether we will get to Goa next season but if we do we will certainly come to meet ups if we do.

Hi Dogfish (Sian) and split ........ well the meet went well but of course not the same without you guys!! heres a rundown of who was there: TAZZ and O/H Jantie & friends and O/H's, Adele victoria and O/H, MikeRichardson, Goangirl and O/H, samtheboater and vanda, me and O/H, think that was it 
but if i have missed anyone sorry! was a good night and everyone got on well..... not too rowdy , infact we were so well behaved not much to report.... and i was on water!!

Hope to meet up again with IC and Chilly and the rest of the gang at the Carvery in March but can't be specific about which date yet as coming out with friends/family and it will be a rather hectic time as arranging party for OH's 60th. This time though I shall be more awake.......Fizz

Hi, correct me if I am wrong (as I quite often am) but would the Carvery be close to the Silver Sands Hotel. Excuse me if I am incorrect but unfortunately it has been a while since I have been there. I hope it is as we are staying that hotel... That is unless the nice people at First Choice ring us in the next two days to tell us our new hotel is now in New Delhi - that was awful for Silver Angel. If so we will come down on the 4th of February.

the carvery is down Beach road Candolim, if you are coming from the calangute direction toward Candolim go past football ground and take a right at beach road, (there is a chinese of the left corner and usually some stalls on the right selling ciggarettes etc) and there are lots of restaurants/shops etc down there, the carvery is a little way down on the left but you need to look up or you might miss it!! it is upstairs and the entrance is down a small alley/lane on the left side (if you are looking at it ) Hope this is helpful

You are not wrong the Carvery is down the main beach road that runs round to the Silver Sands so you are less than 5 minutes walk to it. We stayed at the Silver Sands in December and went to the meets and had a great time, I'm sure you will enjoy yourselves.
