Hi I think it says on the Visa form what size photos shou;d be.We ised photo boothe at Asda and they were accepted.
Thanx for that info I will just use the usual size photo & hope for the best, luckily the bloke gave me a copy of both sizes.
my partner and i have different adresses so do we apply seperate or can it all go in 1 envelope etc
I am sure they have to go in seperate envelopes because the address is different.
Me and my cousin put them both in the same envelope and we have different address, they'll only go to one of your address's though..
cheers sleep-r-us will send in 1 envelope then thanks
can anyone tell me if my daughter(she stays in Glasgow) could use my address here in England as her permanent address to apply for her visa, just to save any hassle if we (three of us) sent them together to birmingham.
billy you can only send 2 passports in one envelope, Gel
I'm sure I read earlier this year and I've just checked o the VFS global site that all postal applications have to now be sent to Hayes in Middlesex for processing.

Sorry what i meant was to save any hassle i will be going to my local Indian charity here in Leicester and apply for our visas through there and all i do is fill in a form and take it to them and they do the rest.
As my daughter is going with us this time i was thinking of putting her application with mine and my wifes -but the problem is she permanently stays in Glasgow and under the juristdiction of Edinburgh visa application centre. So i wondered IF she puts my Address as her permanent one instead and i took her application to the charity place which in turn takes them to the Birmingham visa centre which is this areas juristdiction...would they be non the wiser to this?
What is the address on her passport as I think this could be the answer to your question!
Is your address on your passport, mine isn't
Only reference to any town on my passport is the town where I was born.
Has anybody been to the ~Cardiff Office? Thanks

Anyone getting worried about the Postal strike that looks like it is going to get worse. I leave for India on 6th Oct and wanted to leave it till 10 days before i leave to post but i think i will do it monday and just hope i get it back .
Hi I think i heard it on the news last week that special delivery was not going to be affected. The management were going to makes sure they got delivered but don't hold this as a definate.I'd apply sooner rather than later to be sure you get visa back in time.
Thanks travistowers.I think they are doing a vote and it will be the beginning of the month if they go on strike . I will do mine Monday.

I would have thought that the whole point of a VISA is to keep tabs on who is being let into their country. Maybe they check the electoral roll or something to make sure that you are a genuine applicant ? If you fill in false details you might find it rebounds big style might refuse to give you all a VISA.
I think you would be better asking advice from the people who do your VISA applications . Good luck !
