I don't remember seeing anything about meals been extra but there is nothing on my booking confirmation to say that we are having meals.Not sure if I missed it and didn't click the box.
I do remember clicking for a special meal for mum though.Since we booked, some friends have booked too but were clearly informed that meals were extra.Unlike me they managed to contact Thomas Cook and were informed that it was a fairly recent charge due to increased fuel prices.
On there website, it says that if you book 12 or more weeks before then meals are standard, does that mean free? We did book more than 12 weeks before but our friends didn't.
It also says on another page that a 4 course complementary meal will be provided as well as snacks or afternoon tea and also ice cream. I'm really confused about it all. I did try to ring them but was told that I was 97th in the queue
It is really important that we have meals as my mum is a diabetic and has to eat regularly. I don't mind paying if we have to but I need it all clarifying. I have emailed T.C. but have had an email back asking me to contact flythomascook.com instead of Thomas Cook and so now I'm still awaiting a reply.Sue
