Some of the internal flights (Jet, Kingfisher and maybe more) can be booked online with Expedia too.
As for UK to Mumbai to Goa fares for next December, I've been checking over the past year on how the fare for particular flights for this season with the same supplier have varied over the past year.
It started off at higher than the previous year (due to UK Air Tax increases).
It then started to steadily increase (mainly due to fuel costs), peaking in July.
By October the long-haul segment had reduced while the internal segment had risen (probably due to yield management - flights selling poorly go down, flights selling well go up).
Since then both segments have been falling and by December the total was back to more or less the same figure as the start (probably due to fall off in bookings due to the financial situation and reduction in fuel costs).
So with all these variable factors, predicting how a flight might rise or fall in the period ahead is guesswork.
best to check out the BA thread on the flights forum, where you will get all the info.

Thankyou everyone, i will keep checking online and phoning, really like the look of kingfisher all the way, will have to wait and see when i can find my dates (to early at the moment), i was given a price by one travel agent for kingfisher but not knowing what the prices were last year only with Etihad who we booked with, have nothing to go by,dont wont to use Etihad as you have to stop over in mumbai and would rather go straight onto Goa. I will let you all know when i have booked the flights.problem is i dont have great patience and like to get it booked early. Gel
I'm very happy to say I'm off to India, and more specifically Goa, for the first time at the end of this month. The Virgin Atlantic flight I'm about to book from Heathrow lands in Mumbai at 11:40 in the morning. The next flight I'm also looking at booking with Jet Airways flies from Mumbai to Goa at 14:40 the same day. Would this 3 hour gap be enough time to comfortably make the connection??
If anyone has any ideas/experience as to whether this is enough time (or tips in general) that would be great!
Many thanks,
Pat

depart 2:50 hoping this is enough time between flights[not going untill Nov] but all booked
Ann
This is more than enough time. In my experience a couple of hours should be sufficient.
We transited over from International ro domestic in November From exiting the plane, picking up baggage, scanning it,and getting the transit bus over, it was just over three hours, and I spoke to several people in Goa, who had experienced a similar time for the transit, so I would say 3 hrs is the absolute minimum to allow yourself Alan
chilly
thanks Ann
It depends on quick you get your cases and through immigration but 3 hours should be ok. Theres a prepaid taxi booth if you turn right ...transit bus left hand side, it was 150 rups in December when we arrived, our cases were last off and the queue for the bus was massive, I was dying for a fag so it was 150 rupees well spent for me.
We must have been really lucky as it's never taken more than an hour an a half. Landing early in the morning probably helps too.
ann
Thank you all - Ann, it looks like we'll need to get our skates on and just be lucky with time!
ann
Just have to say that I'm very impressed with Kingfisher, both the international and the internal flights were high quality
can you let us know what the international part was like please ie...entertainment.seat etc etc
thanks
maybe you can update the kingfisher section in flights for us all,,
robbie
