Ireland - Holiday Parks

We are going to Ireland in October and I was wondering if Ireland have caravan parks similar to Haven Holidays in the UK?

We are travelling to the South of Ireland, we are staying with friends in Cork for the first few nights and I have an apartment sorted in Dubin for the last couple of nights but I was looking for a Haven type caravan park for a few days in between. I 've looked but can't seem to find much so any help you could provide would be great.

Sorry, I'm not aware of anything like the 'Haven' complex's existing here in ireland.

The closest you'll get is the Trabolgan Village complex which is actually in Cork, so that may suit you. Web site is

Have never stayed there, but reviews are pretty good, though I've heard its pricy - that may have changed though with the death of the Celtic Tiger,

Just checked their site and a 4/5 house for Oct works out at 305 Euro's (£ 265).

Here are a few, though haven't stayed at any, may want to search for reviews of them on google. Not as big a a Havan site I wouldn't think but some look OK. Hope that helps.

Trabolgan is a bit of a dump...I'd stay well clear.
