I assume that the advert is the same as the Banner on their Home Page?
Thanks luddendenturk, they don't mention on there that many coaches from different destinations in Spain all arrived at Paris Vatry airport within about an hour of each other (whilst we were there anyway), all passengers were given food and drink. There was a board at the entrance telling you exactly where you were and what was going to happen. They made it very easy for the large numbers of people arriving and we were then transferred to a UK coach which was going to our airport and then on to other airports. It had drinks on board costing 1 euro each and a very friendly, helpful rep on our coach. We were amazed at how they had managed to organise all this so quickly!! Of course there were one or two people still complaining, but not many.
We appreciate some of our Jet2.com customers may have unfortunately incurred additional expense due to this extraordinary situation, which was entirely outside of our control. These expenses will not be reimbursed by Jet2.com
If you had to stay in hotel until the coaches were ready then they are legally liable and they should be reimbursing. That notice is dated 21st April so they might have changed their mind following Ryanairs climb down but if they have they aren't shouting about it.
I think I'll put the goodwill on hold.
Not sure about that because we were staying with James Villas but I don't remember hearing anyone in the queues or waiting for coaches or on the coach complaining about it,
I have prebooked my seats for July for me and my partner and now I wondered if it is possible to change them as there are extra legroom seats available at only £8.99 each. Any response will be welcomed.
See told you it was a quickie.
Linsi
If you go in to the online seat selection, you should be able to change them but you may be charged again.
Darren
Cheers Darren, will have a look, not too bothered about paying again but dont want to mess things up.
Has anyone put in a claim to Jet2.com for expenses due the volcano? and if so have they had any luck?
thanks
I am going on holiday with Jet2 at the end of May flying from East Midlands to Paphos. When I was booking it I opted for Airport check in as I was not sure about the online check in. My query is about the passport information. Do you have to enter it online even if you are not checking in online, or can you do it at the airport??
Thanks in advance
Welcome onboard
Advance Passenger Information is required regardless of which check-in option you opted for. It's a government requirement rather than airline. You'll be able to provide the information at check-in.
Darren
Another, probably daft, question is where do I do it. This is the first time flying with Jet2, but also the first time I have had to give passport details in advance, as when I flew before christmas with a different airline I did not have to do it
Jet2 will collect the information at check-in. Details are on their website under Identification / Advance Passenger Information.
Darren
Thank you so much, that has stopped me worrying ... for now
When I click on the link "Identification / Advance Passenger Information." it sends me into Post a Reply mode.
eviljock,
Thanks Darren. Once the link worked, it was very informative. I assumed since we gave all that info when doing online checkin, they'd have everything they needed.
Good Morning.
Hi Snapper.
