the only thing you can really do is call firstchoice to find an alternative they are open now on 01617452113 to deal with kos aqua beach club cancellations i hope you get on ok
I am now a very happy bunny and will pack today.
I have got to call them back on monday to see what room i have been allocated.
Foxy, you are not missing out by having the kids den. Some people returning are not happy as all the rooms are exactley the same size and layout. Only difference is you get bunk beds rather than normal beds. You don't get a seperate TV and you have to sign the Playstation out - which you can do in a standard room anyway
Well done Foxy, you are joining the rest of us there will some waiting at the airport, prob. busy lining up for tickets, then again to check in hope they have it organised.
I thought my searching for a holiday was done months ago I am so fed up now sat in front of this computer looking also we booked ours online so I am having to do all the searching myself with no back up or information from a travel agent (although this may actually be better than sat in a shop as others have had to do, well done you guys for standing your ground)

we went to the pegassos palace last year and believe me they will not be sending me there this year, 1 year on and I`m sure most problems will be sorted by now, but please bare in mind that this hotel is massive and caters for 5000 people, but will not spoil your holiday so go and enjoy it
Cravenclan where are you looking at going for them to offer you this room?
We r now looking at going to the CLUB ATLANTICA SUNGARDEN BEACH in cyprus looks pretty good ALL inc some rooms have sep rooms with play station for kids and kids club 4 star too!!! ooooo and PREMIER!!

we were meant to be going to the kabc on the 15th july they gave us £150 per person plus 20% refund now going on the 17th instead from east midlands instead of gatwick to turkey the aqua park there has anyone been there?
Hi ALL found quite a good web site especially for those of you going to the PP in TURKEY
From what i have read all the problems with pegasos were early teething problems. They appear to have all been cleared up now and the reports from the end of the season and the beginning of this season are all very good. The two hotels combined have 1000 rooms, so i think that the estimate of 5000 people is a little high. Enjoy
As for sticking my ground I did but I still feel cheated about the kids free spaces and paying £150 extra and I am not going to rest until it is all back in my bank account where it should be!!
Just go in there and tell them what YOU want have half a dozen alternatives and don't let them fob you off - check other companies and just stand your ground - make them do the work! Say first off that you are very disappointed not to be going but you know they are going to get you a great alternative at no extra cost. Make sure they know that you know that you are entitiled to 20% of the total cost of the holiday and £150 per person back and leave it there. They will then have to work with that. Once you have agreed a price and holiday make sure they log on their system that you are accepting the holiday ( and any additional costs ) unwillingly and under duress and that you will be taking this further.
Sorry about the rambling and good luck, Emma x
Hi after spending from 9am - 4 pm on phone yesterday, finally got holiday sorted. Was meant to be going away on Saturday 8th July but now not going till 20/7 and now going to pegasus tropical, which I was expected to find an alternative as FC said they did not have time, so found that hol, it has very mixed reviews but got a jacuzzi suite and it has kids clubs for a 3yr old, unlike so many others. But looks like quite a lew of us been transfered there! Any of you going before would live to hear your reviews in the pegasus bit in the turkey forum!
I can only add that not allowing people to go to the kabc this year, probably mirrors what went on at the pegassos palace last year when we went, the hotel was clearly not ready, but just so as you know what I am talking about, one man died in one of the jacuzzi suites due to electrocution, they then had to replace all of the the baths in those rooms, one little girl had several toes amputated when a statue fell on her,the lower basement flooded with a foot of water when it rained hard for a couple of hours one day but that was a one off as the weather was about 40/45 degrees in the day and when I looked at the thermometer at midnight one night it was still 38 degrees, the slides were incredibly dangerous and somewhat unsupervised, the beach was rubbish, you have to drink from plastic glasses which are washed in their tap water and smell tainted, the kids are all hyper from drinking tang soft drinks full of additives, built on a reclaimed swamp land so take some deet mosquito repellent local repellents do not work so take heed and make sure yours contains DEET this is the only one that works, in the middle of no where and I mean no where, buildings going up either side of you, flies all over your food in the open air restaurants, the local drinks that are provided are not that clever, but the beer was ok, get your towels out on the sun beds before you go to bed as we brits are now worse than the germans, I could go on and on, but I sincerely hope this hotel has improved from last year, believe me it needed to. and remember that they are obviously doing this in the interests of the public and do not want what happened last year to repeat itself
We have changed to Club Atlantica Sungarden, after being a Kef ABC casualty. We found some reports on trip adviser web site for this hotel that say it mainly caters for german guests and that earlier in the season only german kids were being accepted into the kids clubs. This is not important to us as our kids are older and dont use them but if it is important to you then perhaps you should check with FC before booking if you havent already done so.Hope this is some use to you.
