I phoned my local FC which I am not sure if it will be any good for you but I will happily give you the number if you want it.

I phoned the one i aberdeen and they said that they can't get into my booking as I booked on-line. So stressed meant to be flying next Sat have everything booked to get to Gatwick, how can they do this? Thank you anyway.

I found this one in brochure but they might give you the number you already have to ring instead but it might be worth a try if you have not already done it

It is a sham and I do feel for you when this holiday was shown on Holiday watchdog they should of cancelled all of us for the season then.

My little girl is not talking to me she thinks it is all my fault she is saying FC is stupid bless her, we chose this holiday for the kids.

just phoned first choice and are now set to go to turkey on wednesday morning plus a 20% refund

first choice should be phoning everyone today who aregoing out on the 5th
they phoned us a few hours ago
but we had already phoned and changed our booking

Gutted, how can they leave it so late to cancel. feel so sorry for the people that are not in touch with this site because they don't know yet.

Given a Customer Service number to ring by First Choice, what a laugh because one of our group has been ringing this number since last night and it just rings and rings and rings. Still no answer now 13.23. Hope we get answer before Monday as we are all at work during the week.

I would have thought they would have set up a number just for KABC. I guess it doesn't matter to them they are sitting on our money. Compensation better be good, there are 12 of us in our party and they have had our deposits since May 2005 nice lot of intrest they have gained on that lot.

What a nightmare this holiday has been, I wonder how they are going to find a AI hotel for 12 people at this late stage, anything that still has room for 12 people is going to either be very expensive or rubbish. Otherwise it would have been booked up by now!!!!!!!!!!!!

they found us one easily enough and there is 16 of us
and it is a 4*

we are now going to what looks to be a nice place in limassol, cyprus atlantica hotel and gardens 4* all inclusive which i chose and told them i wnted i wasnt going to be fobbed off with something hat they wanted to fill up. we fly on weds morning taking off at 8am.
they say as the price is so much more that they have used my compensation to pay for this, i told them i will accept this alterntive but am not happy about the compo and i will write in and complain when i get back i am not doing it now as just wnt to go on holiday and not stress.

foxie i don't wish to dampen your spirit but below is the official listing for the atlantica.. the garden apartments do not have star rating, some are grade A (approx 2 -3 star) some are grade b (approx 11/2 to 2 1/2 star)

sorry to hear you have had so many probs this am fc have made a big **** up again. I have just got off the phone after informing our travel agent what has happened luckily although they didnt have a clue as fc hadnt informed them they have been great and fc have offered us 4* ai pegasos palace turkey on wednesday but we now have to fly from manchester and have offered us a 20% refund. Apparently there is a crisis line althoguh i dont know the number and that is bwing answered straight away-according to my travel agent i am just so glad i rang first thing this morning or i dont know where we would have ended up. Janenmick i hope you have a nice time as thigns have been so unfare leaving this till the last minute for you

Couldn't believe this when I read it last night! Was excited because I had received the tickets, and my hubby had told me to stay off here until Sunday night to allow Janemick/Firebird Apache to put on post, but wanted to come on and wish everyone that was going today a good holiday , so was gutted when I started to read what had happened. We phoned First Choice this morning, and they told us to call back next week, and they would sort it out, however, as it was my hubby on the phone, he told them where to put that suggestion, as flying from Glasgow, we will struggle to get something else.

We've now told First Choice that we want a full refund, as I don't want them getting my money now, and we have booked to go away with Thomsons.

I hope you all get something decent out of this, especially those of you that are going in the next few days

Hi there guys.
What can I say for you all? How utterly and totally pants. As my alternative I went to Titanic Beach and Resort in Turkey and had a fantastic time.
Might be an alternative to consider?
I really thought that FC were not going to let you all down, especially as news had been positive for so long.
Gutted for you all - at least I had 6 weeks notice when they cancelled me, not just a few hours.
Chins up everyone (easy for me to say, I know).
Just wanted to give you all some moral support.
FC have excelled themselves this time...

I really can't believe this I have just got back from running around getting my kids passports sorted and now for nothing until an alternative holiday comes up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am now going to spend time looking for a different holiday so am prepared before I phone

Word on the street is that the hotel had a lot of building codes violations and were in trouble with the authorities. That might be the reason for the cancellation.

I can't help but feel that the must have known this earlier than this week..And the photos show clearly not ready, let alone foul of any building regs.
Think its a cop-out.
Hope you all write to FC to complain.
