hi all,
careen you have been charged the same supplement as me, when i phoned first choice they said that the supplement was for a king size bed and a bath instead of a shower. They also said that the sofa bed made up to a double bed.I did n't ask for this room either, i booked a sea view room and first choice cancelled it due to there not been enough rooms with a sea view. I have e-mailed first choice four times regarding the beds in the lounge and if i am been honest i don't think they know if the sofa bed makes up to a double or 2 singles as they don't e-mail me back.
If you do give them a call could you let me know what they say.

Hi Mick D

Probably said "We are away building Aqua Beach Club, please don't disturb" In Greek! Thansk for trying the number! If I rang and someone answered I would not know what to say!

To all the ones going first, someone stated earlier in this post that the Danes will be populating the resort first as it opens 1 week earlier for them. I am sure the Danes are quite critical so hopefully they will put in all the complaints to get it sorted!

Hi

I've read some posts regarding people getting letters from First Choice saying there's no horse riding, am I the only person who's not had this??

Going out 24 May.

I always go away at the end of May and the only place we had a few cloudy days was Lanzarote....

In the brochure there looks like there is a pirate ship in one of the pictures.

Does anyone know any more about whether this is a water feature or the themed adventure playground ?

Evening all! Just a quick question really. We have been all inclusive a few times before but only for a week. What I was wondering was how much spending money do you think we would need for a family of 5 for the two weeks, 2 adults, 2 children ages 7 and 4 and a 6mth baby????

Oh and Lambrini going to book my airport parking tomorrow so will enquire about the supplement then and get back to you!

Thanks in advance

careen - depends on whether you are going to eat/drink out or go on tours, or buy souvenirs. We went AI to Lanzarote 2 years ago and took not much extra with us - paid for tours on cc but had some 'spending money'. Ours were about same ages as your 2 eldest and we had 500 Euros for 2 weeks and brought some back. But then I am a Scot!

ive just had a little look again on the first choice website and really cant see why there are no sea view rooms available as most of the rooms look like they can see the sea, it dont make sense, like I said before do you think its been built around the wrong way lol or is it a case of that because most of the rooms have a sea view anyway they cant really charge for it. Cant see the pirate ship in the pics though, just what looks like a canopied bar area infront of the wave pool, maybe wrong though.

Hi MrsGaz!

We took £400 with us for the week AI and thought not much more than that to be honest maybe £500. To be honest most of our spends usually go on the all the kids stuff you the rides and bouncy castles and we have went to shows like Pirates in Majorca - Fab show by the way - kids loved it! But didn't know if there was anything like that in Kos not really into the scenic tours when on holiday with small kids they'd be bored to tears!

I'm a Scot as well! Where are you from?

Thanks for the reply

careen - my oldest loved Pirates in Majorca too! (Other 2 were too young to go)
I'm looking forward to the holiday and will have some spendies. Last time I was in Kos was on 18-30 holiday so spent money on other thing! On the tours we did not go very far last time but we did go to 'Bubble beach', found an old ruined castle and went to wehere Hippocrates did his thing.
I'm just going to stay by the pool and chill!
I'm originally from Falkirk but my parents now in Banchory - I'm in Norwich though!
