Who can predict the weather?

All I can say is that we've been to neighbouring Pefkos in late September twice, exellent sunny weather with NO rain what so ever. In the evenings it was pleasently warm with most folk still enjoying themselves outside.

Mid October should be warm but there may be a shower, dont forget Lindos is situated to the south east of the island were temps are usually 5/7 degrees warmer than the airport (North West)side.

Enjoy. 8)

Hi clare!
As a rule it doesn't rain alot, remember you're going to the island with the best sushine record in greece. The fact is rain is more likely late or early in the season. I've seen several Octobers in Rhodes and weather is generally very good, at best i've not seen a cloud in the sky and at worst i've seen flash floods in a week of torrential rain (don't worry that was a one off)!
As the previous post says you can't predict the weather but October is normally fine and sunny. If unlucky, you might get the odd cloudy day and see a little rain.

I've been going to Rhodes in October for 20 years and have only had really bad rain 3 times.I was there in the flash floods but as Marcus said that was a one-off. Generally it's warm and sunny, still beach weather. Good luck for your wedding and have a lovely time.

Hi Clare

I, like you, am getting married in October at St Pauls Bay in Lindos. I was also worried about the weather! Reading your replies it looks as if we could be ok! Where are you staying?

Hi Em

We are staying in the Lindos Mare which look's lovely and has some good reports. We are flying out on the 12th Oct. :D

When are you flying out and where are you staying?

I go to Lindos the first two weeks in May and first two weeks in October every year. I've yet to experience any bad weather. Temperatures range from the high 70s to, sometimes, the 90s...it depends on your luck. It can get a little cooler and windy at night but again, cold is relative to what you're used to.
I'm off again on 1 October and not taking any heavy clothing.
Enjoy yourself and good luck. You'll love Lindos.
