20 of us all family and friends going to Magaluf for 2 weeks 30/08/08. staying at the fiesta tropico. very basic apartments very clean and bright but can get noisy if your balcany is over the wash rooms, but at £261 per adult for 2 weeks you get what you pay for lol. third time going to these apartments and they have a great pool friendly people and magaluf itself is the best. :cheers

Just booked last week of October (half term) to Sa Coma - bit worried that we will have nothing to do and the weather will be awful,........any thoughts we be gratefully received.......

julie am: If you want a quick transfer you need to be around the south west of the island (Magaluf and Palma Nova spring to mind). Can't recommend an AI as I've never done this, but the hotel reviews will have something.

Lindaboogie1: Went to Cala Bona early-mid October last year, there were showers but other than that it was bikini weather. I know the summer started late in Mallorca this year as it was mid-June before it really kicked in, so will hopefully last a bit longer for you - at the end of the day you can't guarantee it whatever the month so I would check the long range forecast before you go (it's always been pretty accurate when I've been on hols) which will help you decide what to pack...

The resorts will definitely be coming to the end of their seasons, but not stayed in Sa Coma myself so can't answer specifically.

My partner myself and 4 children are of to playa de muro on Tuesday, staying at the lagotel. We are all very excited,as the british summer has been one wet flop. Is any one else going here. Have enjoyed reading the reviews,so will post ours when we return. One thing im worried about is the dreaded jelly fish, any been seen on the north east coast.
Happy sunny holidays to every one :sun2

Floss, No sign of jellyfish all summer, though the sea's nice and warm. Have a good time in PDM.

Hi, I am just back from Cala Millor my children got stung by jelly fish twice in one day. Not sure if it was because the sea was rough and was bringing them near the beach. It did not put them offf going back in the water.
