20 of us all family and friends going to Magaluf for 2 weeks 30/08/08. staying at the fiesta tropico. very basic apartments very clean and bright but can get noisy if your balcany is over the wash rooms, but at £261 per adult for 2 weeks you get what you pay for lol. third time going to these apartments and they have a great pool friendly people and magaluf itself is the best.
3 sleeps and I'll be off to Cala Bona. Will be sat in departures this time Thursday - yippeeee

hi everyone, new to forum, but really need some help on deciding which resort to go to. we don't want a resort that as a long transfer time, then we need a good all inclusive hotel which serves good hot food.
Just booked last week of October (half term) to Sa Coma - bit worried that we will have nothing to do and the weather will be awful,........any thoughts we be gratefully received.......
Lindaboogie1: Went to Cala Bona early-mid October last year, there were showers but other than that it was bikini weather. I know the summer started late in Mallorca this year as it was mid-June before it really kicked in, so will hopefully last a bit longer for you - at the end of the day you can't guarantee it whatever the month so I would check the long range forecast before you go (it's always been pretty accurate when I've been on hols) which will help you decide what to pack...

The resorts will definitely be coming to the end of their seasons, but not stayed in Sa Coma myself so can't answer specifically.
Thanks for the reply. will have a look in the hotel reviews for palma nova and magaluf.
I am also going to Puerto Pollensa on 20 Sept flying from Manchester.
Staying at Hotel Pollentia, never been to this area of Majorca, I understand it is lovely..cant wait

calabonagirl, have you seen the new web site for the cala bona hotel. Kath kindly found it for me. Its on my post hotel cala bona, really nice you can post your thoughts on the hotel there, all positive of course!!
My partner myself and 4 children are of to playa de muro on Tuesday, staying at the lagotel. We are all very excited,as the british summer has been one wet flop. Is any one else going here. Have enjoyed reading the reviews,so will post ours when we return. One thing im worried about is the dreaded jelly fish, any been seen on the north east coast.
Floss, No sign of jellyfish all summer, though the sea's nice and warm. Have a good time in PDM.
Hi, I am just back from Cala Millor my children got stung by jelly fish twice in one day. Not sure if it was because the sea was rough and was bringing them near the beach. It did not put them offf going back in the water.
Hey Margaret!! I am flying from Manchester too!! We amy be on same flight and also in same hotel!! We will have a San Miguel together!! Dizz xx
