hi, just booked a flight for next tuesday to malaga with thomsonfly
when booked with ryanair and easy jet i have to gove my passport details, however thomson have not requested this...is this normal!? not flown with them before!!
all help appreciated!!!
If you can find a telephone number for ThomsonFly, I suggest you call them without delay as you are (hoping!) to fly within the next 7 days.
Here are some numbers for them.
just spoke to Thomson and they have confirmed that they do NOT require the API at time of booking, it is only taken at check in at the airport!!
PHEW!!!!
I use Jet2 on a regular basis, and have never been asked to put my passport no. on when booking. Like Thomson, they do it at the airport, linda.

The above came into force last year. As I understood it, the information had to have been received by the Spainsh authorities before the flight left the UK. ThomsonFly are cutting it a bit fine if they are only gathering the information at check-in.

was baffled as to why thomson don't do online check-in, but have just found out i can do self check-in at manchester...saves the queuing up!!!
