I've always found APH to be pretty good. They're only 5 minutes from the airport and the transfer service has been fine whatever time of day. Airparks were ok, but there car parks are on gravel that are full of puddles after rainfall so not the easiest to avoid at that time of the morning!

ive always used APH at manchester too, ive never had to wait for one of the shuttles for more than 5 mins if at all which gives me just enough time for a ciggy

Anyone wanting to book with APH (they also do other car parks) use this link http://www.aph.com/offers/landingpages/dynamic.htm?code=195914 it has a discount code attached to it. I get this through my job, but APH have given me permission to pass it on to other people. It will say offer has expired when you go on the link but it hasnt't when you get the quotes up you will see that it has included discount.

don't know if this is any help but if you get stuck with car parking, try the train. I just booked a return train for 2 adults to travel on the 20th July and return on the 4th August....................£42.

You should have booked earlier! You can get York-Manchester Airport for £16 return for an adult (kids 5-15 inclusive half price). But you need to get in early and play the system. With a Family railcard you could get the four return tickets for a grand total of £27.20 (but it would cost you £26 to buy the card for a year so you'd need to make other trips to get the money back). The big catch is that there are no return trains between 0100 and 0400 which fails the 0200 test. These prices require compulsory reservation but on the way back they will allow a 3 hour leeway if the plane is late and you get something from the airline to say so (not sure how - I've only seen baggage agents in arrivals).
We used skyparksecure last month,parked with securapark in the multi story 5 min away,excellent service,and you take your keys with you.

The train i had looked into it but like was mentioned with us landing at 1am therefore hopefully out by2am i couldnt see a train til nearly 5am which is no good at that time of day but cheers for the info.
I dont know who to choose now secura who were just mentioned , and my mum just used them or APH as they are basically the same price.

We are flying out on a Thursday morning 7am easyjet to Alicante can anyone let me know how many other Easyjet flights there will be around that time, it will let me know if it will be a long que for booking in.

just wondered what time Thomas Cook ticket desk opened? Have just been told we have to pick tickets up from airport, and we have an early morning flight. If we are at the airport for about 4:30 (because of having to check in 2(ish) hours prior to departure, will they be open?

Hi , ive been on the Mcr airport website to see where we can go for a meal on sat lunchtime at T2 and ive found a frankie and bennys and something called the food village.
can anyone enliten me as to what the food village is? im trying to work out if its a shop with pre made sandwiches etc or a pub.
Also does anyone have tel nos for either ? i cant see them on mcr airport site...........i want to see if either could arrange a bday cake for my little boy...do you think ive got any chance atall?
Any other suggestions on places to eat would be good, not been from Mcr for a while and T2 doesnt look fab lol
