we are staying at the mariners club in sept? how long is the walk to the main town? and is it a nice walk?
There will be reviews for the apartments elsewhere on this site I'm sure.
Mariner is between the Avenue Tucan (water park etc) and the Avenue Pedro Mas y Reus, the latter being the main part of the "Bellevue" area. On Tucan there are some bars-restaurants like Queens - good, mainly British food. On Pedro Mas y Reus and streets off there are loads of bars and restaurants of all sorts of variety.
When you say main town do you mean the old town of Alcudia or the port of Alcudia? The Bellevue area is sometimes called the main part of Alcudia but it isn't.
To walk to the old town would take about 40 minutes I would guess, to the port a bit less especially if you head for the walkway at the back of the beach that goes right into the port. Nice walks? Well, the beach is nice and the old town of Alcudia is charming and well worth exploring. Otherwise I wouldn't say the walks are that attractive unless you like looking at hotels.
You might want to take a look at http://www.thealcudiaguide.com for info.
