on june 12th my partner and i went over to marmaris to join our daughter and our relatives for a week, we travelled with scot travel who did us a great deal on our last min booking, £124 each, flights and self catering apartment. we stayed at the Mar Life apartments which was basic but the staff were fantastic, the apartments were clean and well stocked, the pool area was lovely and quiet and the staff were always on hand to help in any way. we had some nice meals in a resturant called Natalies Steak house where the staff arranged a small area of the resturant to be decorated with banners and balloons as it was our daughters 5th birthday. the beaches were well keep and clean and we brought home with us loads of cheap designer clothes and shoes, 9 mens t-shirts for a tenner!! who could moan at that! there was lots of boat trips and excurtions on offer and lots of places to go for anb evening out on the town. we visited the one of the water park, which was a great days fun for all the family. the weather was a little too hot for kids as one day the temp reached 46 degrees! as it was our 1st holiday abroad i cant fault it on anything, we all had a fantastic time and hope to visit more of turkey in the future, the people were very freindly but could sometimes be a little to much hassling you to go into there shops and resturants but a simple 'No Thank you' was often enough. we hope that anyone else who visits Marmaris has as lovely stay as we have had,
