hi Debs and welcome to HT. Glad you summoned up the courage to start posting
The meets are weekly. Have a look at the thread and stick your name down to the one you think you will be at. If you are a bit worried about turning up just say and they will keep an eye out for you

Hi debs16, why not come along to one of the meets at the Carvery, (no obligation and if you don't like it you don't need to come again, but I am sure you will enjoy the evening!!) Have a look at the meets thread where Chilly is the meets monitor!

Hi. My name's Shirley and I'm a HT addict, though I've only just started posting on this forum. My usual haunts are the Greek Islands but have also visited Spain, Mexico, Turkey and the Dominican Republic. Been to Italy and Paris years ago on school trips.
I'm 46 and married with two grown up sons. I love going on and researching holidays. Now that our sons no longer holiday with us we are becoming more adventurous and will quite probably be visiting Goa next Easter (2010) to celebrate hubby's 50th birthday.
The wonders of Goa are being bestowed on sis (HelenT)and I by Irish Colleen, Gemma and a few others. I've been reading a website that Fiona provided a link to this morning and I have to say the more I'm reading the more excited I'm becoming. I've also been browsing the Candolim photo album. I think my next step will be pricing up holidays. I'm sure I'll be bombarding the forum with questions over the next few months
