hi everyone
my name is lin i am 52 no 53 i have 2 children 33 and 31.first time in goa back in 1999 then again in 2004 ,i have been going back every year since, sometimes with my daughter sometimes alone and once with my hubby ,i am going back in october for a month ,then again in december for 6 weeks my daughter is coming with me ,then my son,his wife my daughters partner,and hubby will join us for christmas and new year .i can't wait . i live ,breath and dream goa .
anyone out there in october and wants to meet up ?

I did try to see if there was interest in a meet in the south but unfortunately we couldn't set one up

is it because not enough people visit the south yet . it seems everybody goes to the north .

hi all we are hoping to book for north goa next jan all inclusive but at the moment the rices in travel shop are crazy..the cheapest they can get is £1100 per person for 2 weeks.
hope price comes down a little soon.

Have you been to GOA before,the reason i am asking is that all inclusive is pointless in goa as every thing is so cheap.We have been going since 1994

yes i agree ,you will be missing out on so much if you go all inclusive ,that is why you are paying a high price for your holiday ,i suggest you go b/b or less .

Hi everyone, My name is Jimbo ( James is my Sunday name ). I'm 46, married to Angie, we have a fifteen year old daughter ( going on 21 ). I was born in Wolverhampton but moved to Leeds when 23, having met my now wife in Benidorm, Spain. At the moment i'm unemployed, the first time in 30 years of working, but i am a Patternmaker by trade. The family went to Goa for the first time this year ( Osbourne Hotel / Calangute ), and have just booked today for March 2010 in Calangute again. I have been a regular on the Tripadvisor board for the last year and Dragon07 mentioned HT to me today. Went to a meet in April at Bobby's Shack/ Candolim which was a great first night to this years adventure.
This will be the first time in 25 years i have ever been to the same destination 2 years running, that is how much we enjoyed our last stint.. If anyone is stopping at the Mira Hotel / Calangute 22nd March/6 April get in touch.

to the forum jimbo dont know what it is about Goa but you will go back again and again I have been to the Mira hotel its in a great spot you will love it .....going to the Osbourne Hotel / Calangute in November hope its ok .....what did you think of it when you went please .....colleen
