Will be arriving in Candolim next wk for a couple of months and hope to visit the Carvery for a beer or two if that's OK.
Not read all the threads but I wondered if there's any obvious signs or feedback this year on the security situation.
Thanks for the fantastic posts on this site which have helped a lot to get in the mood .........

Hi mamtemby and valleylady and
We are Helen and Clive. We are both psychiatric Nurses, he with young ppl aged 16-17yrs and me with the elderly, we manage to generally stumble this side of sanity for the most part. He is 56 and I am ........................ not 50 anything!!! Live in Burnley Lancs (someone has to), he is a committed Cov City supporter (poor thing). First went to Goa 2003 and stayed at the Marina Dourada and repeated the holiday the following year we loved it so much. Haven't been back since as apparently according to the Bank Mgr letters in red are not necessarily to display affection . We are really planning to go back this Nov and are phoning around Travel Agents/Companies for the best deals. Can hardly wait to get back. Goa is soooooooooooooooooo special. Any tips/hints/ideas etc most welcome.
Look forward to hearing from you.
