Seeing the thread on Mobiles in Cuba prompt me to ask what the situation is in Barbados. I have a contract with O2 and a wee samsung phone. It has worked fine in Europe and Lanzarrote. I won't be using it much, just to ring home, a couple of times, hopefully!!
In fact if the news is chaos after one call I won't bother ringing again....
Thanks in advance...
My mobile phone worked perfectly in Barbados when I was there last in November.
Thanks Mark.
I used a payg O2 sim when in Barbados worked okay, used it for a daily text.Make sure your phone is TRI Band.
In my case it was a good job it did take a week, although I really did think I hadn't used it much at all, I had a big shock when the bill arrived.
Ughhhhhhhh.... TRI band?? not got a scoobie what that means... but O2 will tell me I daresay..
Thank you all for your help.
Susannah
