bowmanor,
Please can you tell me what plane will be on
mehmeh1,
Well, the tour operator said MON96, but I'm sure you're right! Thanks!
Where are 757's based this summer and how does audio entertainment work on planes, do they have a cd system on a continious cycle.
Audio Chanels Are As Described By partyboy_uk Above When You Last Asked The Same Question
As For The 757's There Is One In Manchester and The Other Two Are In Gatwick, But Sometimes Operate From Different Airports (eg EMA)

Hi, does anyone know if there's an age limit on seats with extra legroom? My Son's 16 but he's 6ft 6 and he does struggle with standard seats.
shell,
Thanks for that Gower
Flying to Dalaman with Monarch on 15/07/09, from Gatwick, Flight no MON 7964
Anybody help ?
Many thanks
Welcome onboard
LGW-DLM-LGW (MON7964/5) aren't showing at the moment, but I'd imagine they'll be a Boeing 757-200 or the larger A300B4-605R.

Flew with Monarch to Antalya last week and was interested to hear them say that you were allowed to use mobile phones if in flight mode. I had heard some airlines were going to allow this but didn't realise Monarch was one of them. Luckily nobody near us took them up on it!

Why would you say that? Many phones these days are multimedia and used as mp3 and video players as well as games and many other applications. As long as they are certified for flight safe mode and the airline is happy for them to be used, I can't see a problem as long as headphones are used. I'm sure cabin crew will think differently as it makes their job harder not knowing what model of phone has flight safe and ensuring it's not in a transmitting capacity!

I must have misunderstood. I thought they meant you could make and receive calls, as in 'I'm on the plane'!
Some airlines are starting to roll out On-Air, a mobile phone service on aircraft. I doubt the charter market will introduce it though and I hope they never do. It's one of the only places you can have some peace and quiet away from mobile phones!

Sorry to be a HUGE pain (!), you very kindly informed us that we would be on an Airbus A330-200 for our flights to Paphos (MON1734 14/06/09 @ 1510 & MON1735 21/06/09 @ 2235). When I emailed Monarch about seating, they quoted a seating plan for the Airbus A300-605. Can you confirm if this is indeed the case and if so, what are this aircraft's movements prior to our flight? I'd be both disappointed and excited if it was this type of aircraft: disappointed because I love the A330-200 and we'd be by far the best aircraft at Paphos (!) and excited because I've never been on an A300-605 before!
Regards,

MON1734/5 was operated by the A332 fleet up to the middle of May. It's looking like they've change to the A300B4-605R from 24th May. Due to aircraft changes, I can only backtrack one flight but it's looking like MON1786/7 (LGW-Preveza-LGW) prior to yours. The A332 is a wonderful airframe, I love the noise of the Trent 772B's but the A300B4's have excellent initial climb performance so you'll be happy.

Does anyone know whcih plane i'll be on to...
man-ssh-man on the 14th june - 28th june

Welcome onboard
MAN-SSH-MAN (MON3726/7) are operated by an Airbus A330-200 at the moment although they're normally operated by the Airbus A300B4-605R's. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide.
