I have just returned from Pafos, and followed the advice of several members used 'Avon Skin So Soft Dy Oil Body Spray soft & fresh'.
Normally I get badly bitten by any insects, mostly mozzies, but this year emerged with not one bite. I got my supplies from Ebay and if I'm permitted to say, the seller is: woodies_fayre and the item is sold as SKIN-SO-SOFT-INSECT-REPELLENT-MOSQUITO-FLY-AVON-SPRAY which she sells for £2.75 for a single 150ml bottle, which although I bought 4 not knowing how long they would last, ended up just using 1 for the whole fortnight. As I've said earlier, it worked for me when Jungle Formula spray & roll-on, has failed in the past, and I thank those previous posters for their advice and a bite free holiday.

I had heard SOS soft and fresh was good (used to be called woodland fresh many moons ago) but in my stupidity kept forgetting to buy some and each year I'd come home with a few bites (i used tea tree and took citronella candles with me which did help)!!! One year I was taken to a clinic because my hand was swelling up badly because of TWO mozzie bites - it was terrible. But thankfully the Doctor sorted me out
Avon do have an offer now - it's £2.50 per bottle and I will order some tomorrow to make sure!!

I can certainly endorse SSS Soft and Fresh as well. (can I just say on behalf of Avon reps nationwide please order from your representative and not online if at all possible).

we just got back from protaras this week, 4 of us, didnt use any repellent and not one bite between us!!

Just back from Paphos yesterday and we got no bites between the 4 of us which is amazing considering we always get bitten. In fact between our party of 18 I think there was only a couple of mozzie bites between us which was brilliant because I think mozzies can put a dampener on your holiday, it certainly put us off going to the First Choice Holiday Village in Turkey again as we were bittn to death there last year!!

We use Avon Skin So Soft too and I think it's fab.

They arrived yesterday - and they are the genuine article

The one you want is SSS Soft and Fresh. They only do the dry oil spray and bath oil in this now. But the dry oil spray is the one you really want.

We also use the Avon SSS green bottle Soft&fresh. It's excellent, we used it in Kefalonia this year, where there are a lot of mosquitoes , and only ended up with one bite each, probably on a bit we missed. Also used a plug in at night, but nothing else applied to the skin. Another benefit is that you don't really need aftersun as well, as it is moisturising and makes your skin feel nice.
Question for you Avon reps out there. Is this product Avon's best selling line , as it seems well known for its mosquito repelling properties ? I hope that Avon do not change the formula or anything like that.
