Helen,

Who makes the Escada perfume? I love strong smelling perfumes, nighty time perfumes. Always part of the holiday is my duty free fags and a nice bottle of perfume.

I had guccirush for Mothers day off my son. Very pleasant, but I find it more of a day time perfume.

Escada

Sorry Reesey, Escada is the maker I think the one I tried was called "signature". Much more of a night perfume than Gucci rush. It was in a squat sea green/pepermint green coloured box. I'm definitely going to buy it in the airport on my way to Mexico

Just got back from Fuerteventura this weekend and I'm very pleased with my Escada "Sunset Heat" which I got from the Riu shop in Caleta. The UK price is £30 for 50ml; I found it for 33€ and as I was looking at it, the nice lady handed me a gift box which contained the 50ml spray, a body lotion (worth 16€) and a lovely straw beach bag, all for the same price - 33€

Thats what I call a good deal. I popped into Boots yesterday morning and had another little spray and at nine last night hubby asked me what perfume I was wearing Can't be bad. The box was just labelled Escada and it was indeed green and cream.

My favourite EVER perfume is Profumo by Acqua di Parma. Very expensive but the most wonderful smell. Has a very 'interesting' effect on my OH so definitely worth the money!!

Next holiday I think my wife and I will both be sharing a bottle of this years Summer Issey Miyake For Men (she prefers the mens version to the ladies). The tester I sprayed at the weekend was very fresh and summery but still recognisable as Issey !! Better than last years effort!

I'm an old reactionary. Stick to Herrera. The sting wakes me up in the morning and the alcohol content is high enough to give the cornflakes an interesting kick.

Tried the new limited edition Amor Amor Sunshine today HERE, very nice and a good price - £24 for 100ml EDT :wink:

Don't think anyones mentioned the Paris Hilton perfumes i've just bought the one called HEART its in a heart shaped bottle its lovely,i bought her other perfume JUST ME off the plane.
I love the smell of JADE GOODYS .Shh.I have STILL by Jennifer Lopez
And Lovely by Sarah Jessice Parker.
Its costing me a small fortune every time i go in savers can't help but buy whats on special offers.

light summer spray

Hi

When I go on holiday i sometimes find perfume a bit strong when its so hot and get a red rash on my neck/chest area can anyone recommend any nice sprays i could take? I saw no 7 do a spray and wondered if anyone had tried that?

Mari,

It tends to be the alcohol in perfume that has that affect. Every year the perfume people usually bring out several "sun" / "Holiday" versions of their perfumes and these are specifically for wearing in the sun as they have no alcohol in them.

thanks for that i never realised that. I'll have a look round boots for ideas i really like lacoste pink/inspiration i wonder if they one?

Hi Mari,

They don't do the Pink but they do a Touch Of Sun which is alcohol free, several others do too, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo, Dior, Jill Sander and several others. There are many that are always available but every year someone launches one of the alcohol free versions, not always of an existing fragrance but sometimes.
