Hi all i have booked DIY many times and never had a problem untill now. I booked flights and accomadation and transfers for my parents aunt and uncle to go to turkey on friday 29 sept on tesday 21 sept they received a phone call to say flights had been cancelled. I then found alternate flights which were tied to accomadation so all good you think no yesterday my parents received notification that included a 1 bed apertment for 4 adults instead of 2 seperate rooms. I tried phoning evry 20 minutes and got a recording saying due to staff training no one available, at 9.45pm last night i finaly spoke to someone who said a note had been made to say parents had phoned but no details of query so i told them the story and was assured that someone would phone me first thing about sorting room numbers still waiting.
Sorry just wanted to rant and let others know on a few occasions it dos go wrong. hubby me and kids off in 10 days and no problems for us though so just hope i get parents sorted.
just an update parents and aunt and uncle arrived at midnight to find they were all being put in one filthy room price for an additional filthy room were £25 a night at Club Lobelia rep was not interested 8.30 uk time i got phone call for help phoned directline holidays who said theyd phone me back mean while parents met another tour operator Thomsons who took them to a hotel accross the road showed them clean rooms so they moved for £130 a room B&B all well no other rep from Libra kept hounding them saying they were going home on 6th October 1 week early another phone call home to me another phone call to directline who contacted libra and there flights are indeed 13th the rep in resort had made a mistake . So im now dreading going out on monday incase there is anything else that can go wrong.
