my daughters going there on the 28th for a week so i will find out from her what its liked as ive booked for next year and was a bit worried, and luckily for me she got a cheap deal there whilst looking for a deal to anywhere so i was very pleased at least i will know what to expect next year lol

my daughter is on your flight ,we have booked to go here next year so she going to let me know what its like as there are mixed reports about this hotel, the last 1 on trip advisor not great either

just received text from my daughter from this hotel today, everything seems fine except its impossible to get a sunbed, will see how the rest of her week goes, food is ok she said, weather was lovely today with a nice breeze on the beach ,sunbeds on the beach around a £1

Hope shes having a good time and has some good things to say when she returns home. We go on the 12th July, not long now and cant wait. As long as the hotels clean, food edible and the sun shines i'm sure we will have a great time as there is 31 of us.

shes having a good time, weather fab no clouds, food good, beer good, shes just text to say shes on a catamaran trip and has seen some dolphins, so that sounds brilliant, just hope it stays good for us next may lol

the only problem being the sun beds its get up at 5am or dont get 1 ,i wish hotels would sort this out,

there are loads of different nationalities too, german,usa,russian, french,belgium ,spanish etc

breakfasts sound wonderful, omelettes,pancakes,croissants,pain au chocolate,lovely bread etc, that will make my little daughter happy

sounds like we got no chance of getting sunbeds then, and i'm not getting up at 5am and saving 31 of them. It will probably be alot busier when we go aswell as its the 6 weeks holidays from school for most. Never mind. Anyway breakfasts sound good atleast the kids will be happy with the pancakes, omelettes and the chocolate croissants. Thanks for the feedback, it sounds great so far.

yes my little one loves pancakes for breakfast when we are on holiday, she texted again last night as it was moroccan night and said it was fantastic they had camels ,and brilliant gymnastics. rooms are basic could be better but you only sleep in them. good selection of alcohol for an all inc ,a different cocktail every day ,yum i love cocktails. it does sound good for what we paid. last year 34 of us went to lykia world in turkey 5 star that was fantastic and couldnt be beaten so if shes giving me feedback compared to that we arent doing bad

she did say that another hotel called the tamlett shared all this hotel facilities and restaurants this could be a contributing factor to not enough sun beds, this will be a pain as my daughter loves the pools, also the speciality restaurants get booked up quickly and they havent managed to get 1 booked up to now ,so fingers cross they manage as they have been recommended the chinese

1 bad thing that happened was 2 british families got into a huge row in 1 of the restaurants tonight, shouting and threatening each other, why is always the brits that show themselves up, sometimes it makes me feel ashamed to be british

Thanks for your replies. Cant wait. Like you said the rooms may be basic but as long as they are clean and bedding and towels clean and changed often it will be fine, your right we only sleep in them. We have been told by Eclipse that we may be in either of the 2 hotels the Occidental or the Tamlett but wont know until we get there. We have emailed the hotels just to ask to be situated close to each other but have not heard anything back yet. Could you find out for me if there is any kind of air con or fan assisted air con in the rooms please or if it is cool enough at night to sleep without it. If not then should we need to take a small desk fan with us? The entertainment sounds great to. The men will be happy if the alcohol is drinkable then! Maybe we will have to do abit of sweet talking and tipping to the pool guys at the start of our holiday then and see what they say about reserving our sunbeds as there are soooooo many of us going. Although some of us do get up early 7ish. Last year in Egypt the pool guys had our beds ready for us for the whole 2 weeks every morning already with towels laid on them. We had the same spot for the whole holiday, dont worry we gave them a good tip at the end of it and took them out for the evening. They were so grateful and did not want us to leave as we had such a great time with them and they still text us now a year on. I just hope this one will be as good as it helps make the holiday more enjoyable if people are friendly. It dosn't hurt anyone just to smile and say hello

they dont have air con in their rooms, she said its cool at night and they havent needed any, good job !!!

they have managed to get into chinese tonight and said its nice

Hi everyone whos going on the 12th July hope you are all ready .Just wondered if there are places to lie if you have lilos, like grassy areas etc
don't fancy getting up at 5ish to put towels on. May have to do a bit of tipping

Thanks for that. We were abit worried about it being to hot at night to sleep as the kids get abit restless, but if the temps drop then hopefully we will cope without one as I dont really want to take extra baggage if I can help it.

shes told me today if you get down by 9am then you can get a mattress that can be put on the ground or theres room for your own lilos, its difficult to get the gist of things by texts so i assume by that there are more mattresses than sun beds, she coming home tomorrow so will find out more then

she has said that if you get down 8.30-9 pm when the chaps are putting out the mattresses they will give you some to use,there are more of these than the sunbeds. shes back now and she said chinese wasnt that great, tiny portions and not a lot of choice. there is a cocktail bar that has around 12 cocktails that you can have ,that sounds great. rooms basic but beds a bit on the hard side. 3 out of 7 days cloudy but still warm. people friendly, souk great she got some designer copies and said much better quality than turkey has. restuarant has lots of fish, unfortunately for me i dont eat fish grr, seems more fish than meat !! so any fish eaters will have plenty to choose. they had a good holiday and only a few minor problems so sounds good overall
