After a week in Benidorm , just returning today , I saw your doom and gloom and I thought I would add a bit more, not on purpose , just stating facts.
The reason we went to Spain was to cover the cancellation of our holiday to Goa, due to the fact my wife was rather ill and could'nt face going back so soon.Anyway about an hour ago the phone rang , and it was friends phoning from Goa. There are 4 out there at present and they thought we were coming, even though I told them we would not be there. They said it was very quiet and things were not as they usually are ?

Usual , is about 20+ who have been going to the same place, The Sonnesta Inn, Candolim, or that area in late Feb/March for the last 6/7 years. This year only 4 turn up. Why? I think a lot of the reasons have been posted on this site over the last few months

Theres no doubt I wish we were there, but its been just one bad season, and I hope by next year all is back to normal.I know we are back next January, for a month , but it seems that most of our friends are moving on to other places.I will certainly miss some great times in Goa with them, but things change and I can only hope we see a change , for the better, in the Goa of tomorrow.

Had a good week in Spain, but I do miss Goa.

Robbie I'll try sharing. I love honeybee but If I get ill I'll be blaming you. Doc told me its either honeybee or kings so I quit both but love both so will be testing the theory again in March. Enjoyed the vodka but it just wasn't the same.
