Visa from Blackburn?

On a recent thread someone said they have just got a Visa from Blackburn - anyone know any details?

Hi,

I don't know specifics but I know the Indian Embassy do 'surgeries' around the country at certain times of the year.

If you check out the indian high commission website, there is a list on there covering when and where the surgeries will be.

Thanks for that rugbrat - the Indian High Commission do Visa surgeries all over the country so you can apply in person,it costs you an extra tenner though

going up to london get visa in person, i know you have to queue but anyone know if you get visa straight away or do you hve to return later same day or even next day?

hi ruth, you do get your visa on the same day and you dont have to go back for it .you have to queue ,it takes about 2 hrs,you must be there by 12 oclock hope this helps.

As long as your visa doesn't expire before the date you travel home you'll have no problems using the same one. Quite a few people go a couple of times in one season and that's why if you're planning on making a couple of trips it's important to send off for your visa at the right time. Just check when it runs out and book accordingly.

hi everyone

bit confused with visa this time! Printed off a form and it said visa was £60, which i thought was odd cause last time i only paid £30. Now ive printed off another form and that one says £30??? How much is it!!!

just out of interest - I have sent off the wrong amount in postal orders before and the guys at the visa office in london have been honest and returned the access.
