Good question Nick, lets see, I give up at least 28 hours of my time in a week if not more, after working full time, caring for my family and my mother. I go out of my way to help people out on HT, find info for them and generally be a nice person, however, now and then I may miss a post. Whats your excuse exactly?

and accept that both our posts may have been a bit blunt however both you and Glynis have provided the info asked for thank you, so anybody suffering the stretch problem at least now knows it is being addressed

With regards to the problem I did say the Maddy picture had disapeared however that was last night on my home computer where I may have a different theme set in my profile. Today at work the picture is visible and the index page is also stretched.

Mods and admin can alter a link within a members post to reduce the stretching of a page which we do without 'jumping' on the members. However, banners etc which need coding are the webmasters department and out of the control of mods and admin

Unfortunately Van has not been online to deal with the matter. I'm sure that as soon as he does have time to look into it, it will be sorted.

Only a little query !!

The pages on my holiday truths seem to have got bigger - I have to scroll across the page to read the whole of some-ones post - where as before I could read the whole post on the screen without scrolling...how can I minimise it back.

Does this make sense

We do apologise for the page stretching. We are waiting for Van to be available to sort it out for you all.

My solution to this is to drag the top bar (Holiday Chat, Holiday Discussion) to the left of the screen and then on the right of the screen, hover the mouse over the end vertical line until the double sided arrow appears and then drag to the right. This lets me see the full screen withiut scrolling back and forward.
I am not that computer literate, so don't know the correct names for the top bar (possibly Title Bar?) and have no idea of the name for the side line which I drag wider. It doesn't seem to affect the Font size so if you can follow my hazy instructions it may help.

Hi all, I had the same problem as 1st poster with the pages being stretched, , I have used the F11 button which worked, but, now it is too small, does anyone know which button does the opposite of F11 - I think maybe I pressed it too many times...... :oops:

as that now seems to have disappeared, woudnt want my little problem to be solved by doing anything to lessen the publicity regarding trying to find this poor child.
