Hi Celine

I was under the impression that you only get tea and coffee making facilities in a select room but im not 100% sure of this , hopefully someone can clarify this for you soon.

Reason been i have problem getting up and down lots off stairs etc i emailed the hotel and explained

Ive got to email again 2 weeks before hand to request a low floor room as i forgot to do that when we booked it with Eclipse.

We do only have a standard room just wondering if anyone who has been knows off the best rooms to have so i do have to walk up and down stairs 2-3times a day

Well guys had a fabulous time.

Got back on Friday morning and now wishing I was back

Our flights were all on time. Went straight throught the airport at Sharm, no waiting for ages for cases, straight onto coach.

Arrived at hotel by 11pm, were given our rooms straight away, but had to wait an hour for the bellboy withour cases.

The weather was hot but we seemed to get used to it.

No problems with getting a sunbed, but we went to the smaller pool where it was quieter.

Food was fine, there was plenty of selection, and never felt you were eating the same stuff all the time.

No bad stomachs, none of us were sick the whole 2 weeks.

Beer and wine was fine and drinkable, and so were the shorts.

Beach was lovely and spotless and so empty, you can get a bed whatever time of day.

Staff were all friendly and could not do enough for you.

The entertainment was dire, but we went every night because of the little one. The FC staff are not the best of singers

All in all a great holiday and would go again.

Hi, Could someone tell me if there are any tennis courts at the csr. My 2 sons are into tennis (this week anyway) and were asking me today if there were any courts and do you have to pay for them?
Personally think they're barking mad wanting to play tennis in that heat, but each to their own.

Thanks in advance.

Hi
I am going out to the csr 2 weeks on thur and was just wondering what the gym is like in the hotel. I am in the middle of my footy training and dont want to lose too much fitness when i'm away!!
Every year i say that i will do a bit but it never happens!! but it is nice to pretend before i go.

Cheers in advance

I never actually went into the gym, but could see it and there is quite a bit of equipment, such as running machines, and i think there were weights as well.

I think in the whole 2 weeks I only saw 1 person in there.

Neil,

Didn't actually use the gym but it looked impressive. When I was younger I used to look for things to keep my fitness up for the new season too. There is an astro grass park so you could do a few laps / sprints of that. The CSR is also well located with a good sized walkway that stretches for a few kilometers so you could have a run there. I appreciate the heat will be a problem but mixing a short jog with some pool exercises always did it for me.

HI
could anyone please tell me the layout of a select room. There are two adults and two children in our party sharing the same room and was wondering if the rooms were spacious enough for the four of us without feeling we are on top off each other.

you will have loads of room! We have been two years running with two teenage girls and had no problem at all. Slightly different layout each time but basically huge room with double bed and two single beds, proper beds for the girls not put ups. Also small table and chairs and either sofa or arm chairs and side table with the telly and fridge and tea making stuff. Huge wardrobe with shelves as well!
We had ground floor both years and had big windows opening onto terrace with table and chairs and this year 2 sunbeds which was great!
Bathroom is big enough with little bath, shower, loo, sinks, enough mirrors (!) and hair dryer and the room has plenty of sockets, but take adapters for gameboys, straighteners, phones etc etc!
Any questions please ask!

Hi,

Can anyone who has been tell me if there are any trips to 'The valley of the Kings'?

Watched a progamme about it the other night and now my son, who is 13 is desperate to go.

Does it tie in the trip to the pyramid or is it miles away from there?

Sorry, but geography was never my strong point.
