purcho,
Check-ins will be open quite early, something like 5am so I don't see why not. I've checked in more than 3 hours prior in the past. It's not like it used to be where desks are allocated to your flight. You can check in at any FCA desk so I don't see why you can't check-in at 6am before the mad rush starts.

Hi Darren
As a very frequent long haul eclipse/first choice flyer, I was just wanting to ask the very experinecd and very knowledgable dazbo a question! When they introduce the new dreamliner plane in 2009 where will it fly to first or what route will be used on??
Thanks Dazbo
Nessa
On our booking confirmation it states that check in for us opens at 5am (this is manchester airport T2 to Rhodes), we're staying in the travelodge near the airport the night before we fly so i'd like to know if theres an "easier way" of checking in than having to drag the kids over to the airport at dark o'clock in the morning.
Anyone have any ideas?
You can check-in between 1200 and 2200 the day before your departure date so you could check-in once booked in to your hotel and just walk straight through to departures the morning after. This facility cost £5 per passenger. For more details, refer to half way down the flying information page on FCA's website.
Darren
I don't think FCA know that information themselves yet! FCA are the european launch customer for the Boeing 787, the Dreamliner. I would imagine there will be a series of promotional flights before in enters revenue service. I'll be trying to get on the first flight so I'll let you know when I know myself.
Darren
Thanks again Daz
Darren I wonder if you could point me to an exterior and interior photo of the plane we will be travelling on in Sept, I have a very excited 6 year old who desperately wants to know, its his first flight.
No problem. FCA4502/3 is operated with a Boeing 757-200. For a cabin shot click here. It's not the best shot I'm afraid because I was in row 5 and I got lodged by the window for 4.5 hours. The passenger next to me fell asleep just after take off and I didn't want to wake her so I never got a better shot. This photo is better. This is the cabin of an FCA Airbus A320-214. There's not a lot of difference apart from the IFE on the 757 is provided via ceiling mounted CRT screens above the isles rather than the LCD panels above the seats. Seat pitch is 28" configured 3-3.
Have a great time,
Darren
Hi Darren, just wondered if you knew what type of plane i'll be in this Saturday on the 14.50 from Manchester to Malaga, flight number is FCA2646
Ningún problema senor. FCA2646/7 should be a Boeing 757-200.
Have a great time,
Darren
Thanks Darren you're a star.
Could you tell me what type of plane operated this route for the last two weeks (including yesterday's flight)
Thanks again.
Bryan
Yesterdays FCA534/5 service (9th August) was operated by G-OOAE (Airbus A321-211). 26th July was G-OOAV (A321-211). The rest I posted last time.
Darren
