Checked my dates in November and for the first 3 nights, when we're at the IP at $109, the rates are $1009!!! I know it is a busy and expensive weekend with conventions.
For the 4 nights we have booked at PH for $69 the rates are $99. Found some $69 rates the week after Thanksgiving.
Can I ask where you got the link?
luci
I have that many at the moment and still waiting to see the Caesars Palace one.
I have now cancelled the Orleans as I read about the safes being plonked on a wooden shelf in the bathroom
I have booked Planet Hollywood for 5 nights end of November for $575 and still got the other 5 nights to book but you can never tell where we will be.
John
I'm sure you'll enjoy PH and the rooms should be remodeled by then although I liked the old rooms.
Personally I wouldn't stay at the Orleans as I couldn't be hassled with getting shuttles or taxis to the strip where I prefer to be.

The proper prices are listed on the link below and I took the fountain strip view offer but could have taken the deluxe room at $69 a night.
I will of course keep checking for other offers as that is half the fun of it all
John
We booked a fountain view too the first time we stayed at PH and hubby was never away from the window! Just booked a basic room last time, but asked at check in if there were any upgrades available and were offered a fountain view or a resort room. We took the fountain view, but if I got the chance again I would take a resort room just to see what it was like. I'm guessing it would be about the size of Caesars Palace Tower rooms.

We have lots of variables now and one is to cancel the booking and take the 10 nights for $950 at the deluxe room and try for the upgrade.
That would make our 10 night stay at a cost of £548 each including flights which is not bad but will probably get more offers from them and cancel this one.
Haha lots of cancelling being done and hopefully we will get that nice offer for the Palace Tower room from Caesars again.
Another which I fancy is to try an off strip hotel for the weekend or maybe the other 5 nights.
Looking at the Main Street Station as it has a brew pub and looks nice for the price at $35 a night.
Gold coast until I saw the bathroom.
Orleans out of it due to safes.

John,
My main concern is my laptop which I have to take with me everywhere as in my job I have check all my bookings every day.
That reminds me I have to sell my new all singing laptop as its too big to go in a safe
John
I'm sure ours wasn't loose last year, but I didn't use it.
didn't think much of the slots and thought they were tight but some good bars and we were there for the rodeo so had a good time with the crowds
John
There's nothing wrong with the safes at the Orleans! It's a very decent, 'cheap' hotel.

Click on the view res and then put 25th November 10 nights and then you will see the prices we have got
John
I remember that the safe is on that shelf, but I don't remember it being loose??? We had just been in New York where we had a loose safe on the floor, but the staff told us not to worry??!!
By the way, you have to show your room card to get in the lift at the Orleans also I think - so not the simplest of places for burglars. Can't see them sneaking past the guy at the lifts with a safe under their arm.
I really liked the Orleans, you'd be missing out! That said, it's not somewhere I'd stay for my full trip. Also ideal to hire a car from - as it's off strip and easy access to the roads if you're a bit nervy driving in Vegas!
Checked the rates for the first 3 nights, when we're staying at the IP, and they're $1009 a night!!!
