Hi
I am going to Goa in Jan 08 and am flying My Travel (MYT067/068) from
Gatwick
Am I right in saying that this will be an airbus and is it possible to upgrade at the airport?
Hi does anyone know now that Mytravel have merged with Thomas cook does that mean if you fly my travel you will be able to book specific seats on a mytravel flight booked thru thomas cook thanks.
The GOI flights are normally Boeing 767-31K's. However, depending on what happens with the MYT/TCX merger, they may be leaving the fleet. If thats the case, it'll be an A332. If you supply me with your flight number closer to the time, I'll confirm the aircraft type for you. Regardless of aircraft type, it's very unlikely you'll be able to upgrade to premium seats at check-in. Prem Gold generally gets booked up months in advance.
Darren
Even though the merger has been agreed, they are not a single entity as yet. Thomas Cook Group won't be an official company until November I beleive and I'm sure there'll be a transition period. To answer your question, My Travel and Thomas Cook as they are at present will cease to exist when the new operator is formed so will have common booking conditions. At present, if you are on a MYT flight, you won't be able to select your seat as you can with TCX.

MYT027/8 is operated by an Airbus A330-243. For more info, read my post to charlie cheeko on the previous page.
Have a great time,
Darren
7th Oct from Birmingham BHX airport flying to Monistar Tunisia, 08.40am
I have already paid to prebook seats together for 4 people but whats the set up?
I was going with thomson but the flight times are dreadful!
Have you got a flight number so I can check? It'll probably be an Airbus A320-200. For a seating plan, click here.
Darren
My gosh your quick!!
My gosh your quick!!

MYT583/4 is indeed an Airbus A320-200. However, the last flight on 12th Aug was operated by Futura International with one of their Boeing 737-800's for some reason. Probably a sub-charter due to a technical problem or something.
Darren
LOL! Mean in the nicest of ways of course!
Florida what plane is this likely to be, and how can I get 3 good seats ,
and any other info please,
thanks in advance
MYT063/4 is operated with an Airbus A330-243. For a seating plan, click here. All seats are nice on the A332's. They don't vary very much so just personal preference if you'd rather be towards the front, middle or back.
Have a great time,
Darren
thanks for that Darren,
Darren We are flying MYT23 Gatwick to Mombasa next week do you know theAircraft Type and the incoming Flight no Manchester to Gatwick
Detective time! MYT023 is operated by a Boeing 767-31K. It was serviced by G-SJMC on 13th Aug. Previous to the MBA flight, it operated MYT127/8 which I beleive is MAN-Burgas so it'll be ferried down to LGW at some point to operate the MBA flight.
Having said that, G-DAJC operated MYT023 on 30th July and operated MYT207/8 previously which I think in MAN-DLM. Whichever, its a short flight previous to yours and is ferried down to LGW around 6-7pm.
As for the ferry flight number, there's nothing on ACARS.
Hope that helps,
Darren
If it is a 767-31K Do you have a seating plan(We are in premier & i will be phoning them tomorrowwith a seating request.)
Cheers
Roger.
I don't have a plan for the 767's I'm afraid. Prem Gold is configured 2-2-2 with 35" seat pitch. There are 5 rows of seats at the front of the aircraft.
