All the reviews say its lovely, which makes me worry a little
So you admitted to penning (sic) one of those reviews, I presume?
"He's only at his best when playing germanic people at chess or Scrabble and then he only wins by intimidation and threats or just plain cheating!"
You know, Lion, those "stern" types who sit there and dont know what's going on around them, just how the pieces are placed. They're usually from Munich or even Zurich. Mr Sinai tries to emulate their attitude of course, except when he's being barracked by one of the wild bunch! No suggestion meant that it could be someone from sarf London!
I get what you mean now,
ere, rog carroty mate, me old chum, how do you post pictures within the post?
how do you post pictures within the post?
Answer. Easily!
I'll PM you in the next couple of days with the method, mate!
Had to post this picture because I am missing this view when I wake up in the morning! Have got to wait until february for the next visit but my dear wife has just surprised me with tickets for june 2008 as well!
Fab foto Roger
4 weeks until we can see THAT view again
Well, if you guys can't manage to sleep in those big comfy beds that Swisscare has - or does his nibs start stomping around shouting at the breakfast staff at about 5am
29 5:06
How dare they !
I have enough headache with the camels now I got to look out for grafitti artists !!
perhapes thats the plant quota for the week they have just chewed through when you was in Cairo
or does his nibs start stomping around shouting at the breakfast staff at about 5am
Not quite that, Alan, its the staff who start shouting for "Meester Alvin" to get him up at 6am, so he can pretend to the guests that he's been out for a swim already!
Has anybody "done" the Swisscare outwith a tour operator? The prices quoted on Swiss' website look competitive but we can't seem to find any flights that are cheap.
Just a had a quick look for flights and the cheapest I could find were with BA--------10 June from gatwick to Sharm £214.70 pp. which isn't too bad!
We're back at Swiss' next Thurs
Hmmmmmmmmmm.......
I'm considering coming out for a week on my own next year. Never been abroad alone before! Depends how much I'd be clobbered for supplement-wise
If I came on my own I wouldn't have to worry about coming during college holidays. Would the beginning of July be much cheaper than the end of July for a single traveller?
For the first week in July
If the flight is £215 to Sharm (with BA from Gatwick - webprice as of today)
... and Swiss' website quotes transfers at $135 for one passenger from Sharm
... and Swiss' website quotes rooms for one at $58 per night half board, plus an extra $5 for Thur/Fri/Sat, minus 25% for stays of 7 nights, minus 10% for paying three months in advance...
I make that, all together, about, roughly, assuming $2/£, it comes to...
£435 for the week.
But you might negotiate 'special' deals with the man himself...
Longwoods to Swisscare at the same time is £489 plus £11 single suppl/night, so that makes £566.
But Jetline would get a discount on the package price, of course.
