I have lost 2lb this week, another 6lb and I will be at the weight I was before I went on holiday. How can you put 8lb on in two weeks and it takes ages to get rid of it, it is so unfair :cry: But I wont get disheartened because this is still the lightest I have been in 3 years. I hope everyone else has a good weight loss this week.

What a week :?: I have struggled so bad to stay on the diet wagon this week so I was amazed that I lost half pound at tonight's weigh-in. My head has gone into holiday mood a week too early I think :? . I am going to have to try extra hard to stay with the diet this coming week but its officially the start of my holiday on Sunday and I have decided to have a pizza the night before we go :D (ive been dreaming of pizza :roll: )

Well done Bonnielass. Keep it up and the excess weight will be gone before you know it and Val 8) wow and well done. Joolz, I hope I can be as "off" the diet as you and still lose weight. Well done you.

Well, im signing out for a few weeks now - holiday beckons :D. Will check back in on and off but talk to you all in 3 weeks (probably half a stone heavier :roll: but it'll be worth it :lol: ).

Hi Guys, I only lost a lb this week and I broke my health walker so will need to go and buy another one. It must be addictive as I am having withdrawl symptoms from not using it, and I am usually quite lazy but I had got myself into a routine. I hope the rest of you all have a good weight loss :)

Lost 5lbs since last Wednesday. I anticipate that from now on I will only lose 1lb each week.

I have not been to SW class for 2 weeks - what with the BH and work and I have been 'naughty' I am thinking I still on holiday :shock:

I've been back from hols 3 weeks now and lost 3lb of the half stone I put on - really hard to get back into the swing of it but determined to make it to the four stone mark by new years day and another half by next years summer hols!!

Has anyone tried these pills for weight loss (THIGH,HIP,& TUMMY SLIM)They were in a magazine they contain Amino acid/protein complex you take them instead of your meal but must be used in conjunction with a controlled diet. They cost 24.99 but don't know how many you get.

Hello Everyone.

I see the majorety on this topic are mostly ladies so hope im not going to look a bit of a silly billy :oops:

Anyway as from tomorrow im starting watching what im eating and getting in to a routine of more excersie
(classic one which is walking to work) I just need to loose a stone :roll:

So if i thought if i write it on here it will give me determination to keep at it.

Will keep posted on my weekly progress next Monday.

Hi Danny, welcome to the diet forum, I hope you dont put us women to shame and lose double the weight that we do (only kidding) Best of luck with the diet. My diet is going now where. My new health walker hasnt arrived and I have lost ZERO this week-if I cant exercise I cant lose weight :( and I cant eat anything that I want. I hope everyone else has a good weight loss this week. I will keep trying-it wont beat me :)

Off to Lanzarote on 22nd November and weigh more now than i did the week after my daughter was born 3 years ago.... :(
I have had about 5 holidays since then and tried to use each as my incentive...i've shifted half a stone here and there but soon enough put it all back on and some :oops: This time i am determined, i lost 2lbs on my own the first week then joined weight watchers and last week lost 3lbs so i'm going in the right direction ....anything over a stone by the 22nd November and i'll be a very happy lady...i'll try to post every Friday....i'm telling as many people as possible so that i HAVE too stick at it.

Hi Everyone

Years ago I went to a slimming club, but I cant remember the name of it. It was based on Saturated Fats, eg, label says per portion, 6g of saturated fat, then you would divide that by 3, so therefore your portion was 2 points, or 2g. In essence, it was somethign like a maximum of 10g per day, but you could eat sensibly otherwise as long as you didnt overdo the fats. Can anyone refresh my memory on this one, the name of the slimming club, or any changes that were made? It was really good at the time, but old age is affecting my memory now.

Welcome to those people who have joined the forum :) - we are very friendly and all offer each other advice, help etc.
Went back to SW class last week after another 2 weeks away and it has been a strange few days, like Lallygirl I still think I am on 'holiday'. 8)
So from today a new start, I signed up for the 12 week countdown so going to get my 'moneys worth'
Have set myself a target to loose at least 1.5 stone before Christmas :roll:

I comfort eat, and have been going through a very stressful time so it's a vicious circle unfortunately. :bawl

hi guys forgot all about this topic, i joined slimmers world five weeks ago as my son is now 8 months and we go on holiday to cyprus on 6th october so i thought i had better get some weight off. i have lost 9lbs so far but this week i have really struggled, my hubby ordered us an indian takeaway on saturday night it was gorgeous but put me off track so god help me on thursday when i get weighed!!! i had a bar of chocolate last night as well :yikes back on plan today though. thanks for listening and i will let you know how i go at class on thursday. lindsay.
