Hi lindsay and sheila, i tried the well known other one myself first and was miserable on it.... then sw finally came to n.ireland and i haven't looked back since! People are amazed at how much i'm allowed to eat and i've now converted most of my old ww friends
Finally we found something that works
lindsay.
Hi all - weigh in tonight - lost another 1.5lbs Really quite pleaed, i know i could have done better but thought i had done alot worse so i'm a happy bunny
lindsay.
lindsay - half a pound's not so bad, (you must have had an extra glass of water or cup of tea before weigh in - that happens to me sometimes ). well i hope you have a fantastic holiday.
Rachael.
lindsay.
Not been around for a bit and didnt get weighed last week. The diet did take a nose dive . Got back on track, well sort of , this week and I have lost 3.5lbs. Really pleased with that. I was expecting the worst so it was a really nice surprise :D.
Hope everyone is doing well all.
Sarah
Hi there Sarah - 3.5llbs thats absolutley fantastic! I lost 0.5llb this week i'm happy enough with that, considering the amount of binge drinking that went on over the weekend and my brothers wedding last week, back on plan tomorrow (i always have my treats tonight after weigh in).
Was delighted to find that on first week I have shifted 5 and a half pound.
Off on hol on Monday so hopefully will not put it all back on , my long term goal is to be nice and slim for my holiday next august!
hi there swimsuit, congratulations on your first 5 1/2 llbs personally sw for me has been a complete life saver, i'm sure you'll meet your target in no time.
My total loss has gone from about 9lbs to about 7lbs and its 5 weeks on Thursday to holiday so i really need to try harder - if i could do 7lbs in 5 weeks i would be so happy
fogot to say wee_flea - another 1.5lbs - WELL DONE! and to everyone else who has lost this week
Just joined SW also have 2 stone to lose. Is it difficult to follow? Haven't read all the book yet! Any useful tips? Denny
Well think all that picking and eating the wrong things has finally caught up with me. I put on 1½ lbs this week. Im not worried because I knew it wouldnt be good. I could feel it. Ive been back on track this week though and hope to lose those excess lbs at the next weigh in.
I have to admit, though it was so easy to fall off the wagon and I did enjoy eating all those biscuits (I dont even really like biscuits that much ) and pick at pizza, chips and crisps. Its been nice but it will stop.
Denny. SW is brilliant and really easy to follow. Ive lost 3½ stone since joining at the end February this year. Once you get to grips with it, you wont look back.
Well done to all those losers :D. for the rest of the week.
Sarah
Thanks Sarah, read the book now and have also been on line and understand it a lot better now. Can't believe you can eat all that food and still lose weight!!!! Well, we will see how I go on on Tues at weigh in.
Welcome to our 'newbies' and good luck.
Since coming back from holiday in August it has not been so good for me 1lb on here and there and then maintain and then maybe lose half a pound, so really had to 'rethink' everything portion sizes plan ahead etc. Did this last week and lost 2lbs at weigh in on Tuesday so I was a happy bunny!!!!
Off for half term next week so going to make loads of soups etc and hoping for another 2lbs loss.
Have set my target weight after speaking to my consultatnt and I want to lose 17lb by Christmas.
PS We did a 'tasting session' recently and got some brilliant ideas - lasagne crisps, chick pea nuts, pate for vegetarians, I am going to copy all the other recipes next Tuesday so if anyone is interested in the above let me know by PM
Keep up the good work everyone.
Irene
msc1977 - we're not allowed to mention the word bad in our class... we are just slightly naughty! it sounded as though you had a really good couple of weeks though, you'll get that 7llbs of in no time
denny.53 - SW isn't difficult in the slightest, if you're unsure of anyting just ask. The only thing i would struggle with is watching the alcohol intake i try to stick to spirits when i'm out now.
sarah - 3 1/2 stone is amazing i'm sure you are a new person, putting on 1.5 llbs is nothing when you look at how far you've come, it'll be off you next week hopefully.
irene - i'm busting to know the lasagne recipe, i've sent you a pm
for the weekend folks, Rachael
Have sent you a PM but the timing should be 4 - 5mins for thew crisps. Just had some with a samll glass of wine.
Irene
for the recipe irene i shall be trying the crisps out tomorrow night after my weigh-in, i'm assuming that they go hand in hand with a glass (or two) of wine so i'll try that also
Why hadn't I thought about accompanying them with a glass of wine? LOL
I used to be a crisp addict -now I have these instead - I suppose you have to check whether you are on a green day or red day.
When cooking them just make sure they have a bubble like appearance then they are cooked.
My weigh in night tomorrow - so fingers and toes crossed LOL.
Irene
