Well I like them, but I've not got the traditional larger ones, I have some Mary Janes and Caymans is it? I've been told the Mary Janes especially look really sweet.

Emmental cheese though, lol. :D I have to say I would avoid yellow.

I saw someone wearing some very bright orange ones and I have to say they didn't impress me much. Kind of a look of a person who works on a fishing boat for some reason. :D

What about socks with crocs as a fashion statement?

I recently saw a little old lady pushing her shopping trolley up a hill near where I live and she was wearing a bright pink pair of crocs with white socks.

I wear mine with socks, but only in the winter and only indoors!

It gets worse, socks and crocs, I just hope won't ever see that. Its like the germans who wear socks with jesus creapers or its other name sandals. The thought is making me feel sick. :yuck

A bloke on the Pirate ship at Whitby had some bright orange ones on and the man who was taking fares on the tour bus, must be a seaside thing.

I bought a pair of Disney Caymans (Pink) and multi-coloured flowery design Mary Janes whilst i was in Florida and they are the most comfortable shoes ever! The Mary Janes remind me of my shoes from when i was a little girl :P
I must say though - i might have fallen foul to the fashion disaster that is crocs and socks! Sometimes when my feet got sweaty in the Florida heat, i'd feel them start to rub but only slightly, so i put on socks just incase! Everyone was wearing them over there - even with socks! They're great!

I hope I can trust you not to tell the fashion police!

Just back from Salou and everyone seemed to be wearing crocs or mock crocs. Can't shake the image of a huge german guy wearing bright orange huge crocs, my daughter could have used them as a boat they were that big, and speedos yuck. Don't know what was more shocking

My son has asked for a pair of the all terrain crocs for our summer hols as he can wear them when he goes with his cub pack to summer camp (he's assistant leader) as they'll be great for tramping around the fields and rescuing cubs from the water! They also have toughened toe caps so there's extra safety.
We saw them on ebay for £28 plus P&P but can order the exact colour he wants from the US site Taylors and get them for £27 including P&P saving us a fiver!
I've been told NOT to buy myself another pair and I'm resisting temptation but they are the comfiest walking shoes I've ever worn!

I promised myself (and hubby) that I would never ever buy a pair of these ugly shoes but.............. could not resist temptation today when I saw a pair of mock Crocs in a shop for £4.99 (we'll have to see how long they last....). Hubby doesn't speak to me now but my feet are incredibly comfortable.

:) :) :)
